Dear Friends Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. "…Praise the Lord, call upon His Name; declare His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for He has done excellent things; this is known in all the earth." Isaiah 12:4-5 From the Ends of the Earth Participants for this year's Great Commission Course came from as far afield as America, Canada, England, Kenya and New Zealand. Participants wrote that they came to the GCC: "to be empowered, so that I can empower others.", "to learn to be more effective.", "to gain courage and boldness" and for "duty and desire to glorify God." Africa Reformation Overland Mission As we approach the 500th anniversary of Professor Martin Luther's launching of the Reformation, we are seeking to educate and evangelise, equip and empower families, congregations, communities and countries to return to the Bible, applying the Lordship of Christ to all areas of life. For this purpose, our teams are planning to conduct Soul-Winning Seminars, Discipleship Seminars, Evangelism Workshops, Reformation Conferences and establish Revival Prayer Groups, Bible Study Groups, Reformation Societies and Christian Action Groups that will initiate Back to the Bible movements throughout our countries and continents. "Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?" Psalm 85:6 Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Bill Bathman No sooner was the Great Commission Course over, then I was flying off to the United States to conduct the Memorial Service for Rev. Bill Bathman, who served as the Chairman of the Board of Frontline Fellowship for 14 years. The auditorium at Sunland Village East, where Village Chapel meets for worship, was packed with friends and supporters of Bill and Harriett Bathman's dynamic ministry. Some had flown in from other states. During the open testimony time, dozens of people shared testimonies and examples of God's life-transforming grace ministered through the Word of God preached by Rev. Bill Bathman. People testified of how the Lord used Bill Bathman to bring them to Salvation, mobilise them into Missions, equip them for service, deepen their Faith, widen their vision, impact their lives, teach them Faith, courage and perseverance and so much more. We have over 9 pages of typed testimonies and Tributes to Rev. Bill Bathman from Around the World uploaded on our www.frontline.org.za website. More are still being added. You can also listen to the sermon presented at the Memorial Service for Rev. Bill Bathman on our SermonAudio.com page of www.frontline.org.za. We have also uploaded the PowerPoint presentation I designed to commemorate the Life and Legacy of Bill Bathman on the Slideshare page of our www.frontline.org.za website. The Order of Service, with Memorial photo collage can also be viewed, or downloaded and printed, from our Memorial Page on the www.frontline.org.za website. March for Life Returning from the USA, I flew into Cape Town just in time to participate in Africa Christian Action's Annual March for Life to Parliament in Cape Town, on Wednesday, 1 February, marking the tragic 20th anniversary of the legalisation of abortion in South Africa by president Nelson Mandela. Christian marches carried miniature coffins, Christian flags and crosses and were led by a hearse. A 6-meter billboard trailer with the words: Abortion is Murder! And "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves." Proverbs 31:8 accompanied the marches. At Parliament, we prayed a Responsive Prayer of National Repentance and a Scriptural Imprecatory Prayer, calling on the nation and government leaders to repent of the national sin of abortion and warning of God's judgement, if they do not repent. Members of Parliament, pastors and mothers who testified of crisis pregnancy situations led the March participants in prayer and we sang, How Firm a Foundation ye Saints of the Lord and Trust and Obey. Obituary notices were placed on Social Media in memory of the 1.400,000 babies killed by abortions since 1997 and flowers were laid at the gates of parliament. Following this Prayer Vigil at the gates of Parliament, numerous participants went on to Marie Stopes abortuary to make a stand for life there. "Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering towards slaughter. If you say, but we knew nothing about this, does not He who weights the heart perceive it? Does not He who guards your life know it? Will He not repay each one according to what he has done?" Proverbs 24:11-12 Ministry Milestones This April will mark 40 years since I first heard the Gospel and was converted to Christ, 3 April 1977. Our first Frontline Fellowship cross-border Mission to Mozambique was launched 2 April 1982, 35 years ago. Chairman of the Board We praise God for a new Chairman of the Board of Frontline Fellowship: Dr. Phil Kayser, the Founder of Biblical Blueprints and Pastor of Dominion Covenant Church in Omaha, Nebraska. Phil Kayser was raised by Missionary parents who served in Ethiopia for 30 years. Dr. Kayser has maintained regular ministry serving the persecuted church, conducting an average of three Missions overseas each year.
