L4A Needs More Couriers
You can help fulfil the Great Commission in Africa.
Whenever you travel, you can make yourself available to Literature 4 Africa as a Courier.
With the increasing costs of fuel and therefore of travel, and the collapse of the South African Postal Service, it has become increasingly important for literature ministries like literature for Africa to recruit a network of couriers /Travellers who would be willing to transport and deliver packages or boxes of Bibles, Christian books and Gospel booklets, Especially throughout South Africa and southern African, but also to other countries throughout the continent and beyond.
During the Cold War, our friends Walter and Crystal made themselves available as couriers as they celebrated their honeymoon behind the Iron Curtain into communist Czechoslovakia. They transported/smuggled Bibles across the Iron Curtain into CzechoSlovakia Where they rendezvoused with underground church contacts at camping grounds to resupply them.
Frontline fellowship had a network of couriers which included South African Airways flight attendants who helped us to provide persecuted churches in numerous restricted access countries with Bibles. They also managed to transport quantities of Russian Bibles to the Cape Verde Islands where the Soviets operated military bases. Long distance truck drivers we were also able to deliver Bibles in indigenous African languages to restricted access countries throughout Africa. People serving on United Nations operations we're also able to assist in delivering and distributing Bibles and Gospel literature.
