In the recent United States Presidential Elections (and in the previous Brexit vote in the United Kingdom), we have seen just how wrong the media experts can be. Many are describing the mainstream media as the lamestream media. A new word has been added to the English vocabulary: presstitutes. It is now being said that so many in the mass media prostituted journalism in being so partisan in pushing propaganda to promote the Clinton and Obama secular humanist globalist agenda - instead of reporting the news. Most so called news reports, in both the print media and on TV, seem to be more biased views than non-partisan news.

Freedom of Religion at Risk in South Africa

Last week saw the ANC government advocating a series of legislation that could pose some of the greatest threats to religious freedom and free speech ever seen in our country. On Wednesday 26 October 2016, the CRL Rights Commission released its report on what they called the "Commercialisation" of religion and "abuse of people's belief systems" on its www.crlcommission.org.za website under Commercialisation Report. Pages 31 to 39 contain the Commission's proposals for regulation of religious groups.

Communist Chaos in Cape Town

Yesterday, Wednesday, 26 October, the promised "peaceful protest" march of the #FeesMustFall movement to Parliament, in Cape Town, turned violent and destructive with rioters wearing red EFF and SASCO T-shirts, smashing shop and restaurant windows, throwing bricks, damaging police vehicles and buses. A running battle was fought between the police and rioters throughout the streets of Cape Town, leaving smashed windows, damaged vehicles, fires and debris in their wake.

During the 4 years of the presidency of Jimmy Carter, 13 countries fell to communism. In most cases, they did not just fall to communism, but were actually betrayed into the hands of communist revolutionaries. It was a major foreign policy goal of Jimmy Carter's presidency to force the people of Rhodesia to hand over to Robert Mugabe's ZANU terrorists. Americans removed Jimmy Carter from the presidency over 36 years ago. However, the longsuffering people of Zimbabwe are still stuck with Carter's legacy in the form of Robert Mugabe's murderous Marxist dictatorship.

Missionary Murdered in Malawi

Geoff Freind, a beloved Australian minister of the Gospel died in a South African hospital, 21 September, from severe injuries sustained from a savage attack in Malawi. Geoff Freind was a Major in the Salvation Army, based in Perth, Australia. Geoff had served with the Salvation Army for 34 years.

Promoting Racism and Intolerance in the Name of Combatting Racism and Intolerance

An Overdue Initiative
When I received an invitation to attend the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development Consultation on a National Action Plan to Combat Racism, Discrimination, Xenophobia and Intolerance, I was encouraged. It sounded like a great idea. About time that somebody in government was going to do something constructive about all the farm murders and irresponsible politicians singing: "Kill the Boer! Kill the farmer!" and "one settler – one bullet!" rabble rousers wearing: "kill all whites" T-shirts on campus. With all the talk about "Eradicating Afrikaans", destroying art treasures and national monuments, this initiative was obviously long overdue.

Priorities
The main thing is to keep the main the main thing. Our greatest priority on earth is to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbour as ourself. We are to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). The Great Commission must be our supreme ambition. "All authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on earth. Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you…" Matthew 28:18-20. Christ's last Command must be our first concern.

In Nigeria we have been disturbed to hear that former US Congressman, Steve Stockman, a Member of the US Congressional Delegation sent to Nigeria, in the months after the kidnapping of hundreds of school girls by Boko Haram, confirmed, with Lifesite News, that a senior US General informed them that they had intelligence that could have aided the Nigerian military to crush the terrorist group, but were blocked from providing this information to the Nigerian authorities by the Obama Administration. The reason given for this refusal of critical intelligence that could have made all the difference in the war against terrorism, was Nigeria's pro-family stance resisting the same sex "marriage" demands of the Obama Administration.

24 April 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the launch of the systematic extermination of the Christian Armenians by the Ottoman Turks. The Jihad began with the arrest of 250 Christian leaders in Constantinople (what is today called Istanbul), on 24 April 1915. Over 1.5 million Christians were slaughtered by the Muslims in Turkey during 1915.
