Greetings in the Precious name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your letter.
The Bible commands us to “be salt and light” in society, to preserve what is good and to expose what is bad. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them (Ephesians 5:11).
“Who will rise up for Me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for Me against the workers of iniquity?” Psalm 94:16
We are commanded to love our neighbour as ourselves and to do to others as we want them to do to us. This requires us to be good neighbours and good Samaritans. “Go and do likewise”.
Therefore, in political and social issues the church, as a minister of Grace must seek to speak prophetically to government as the minister of Justice. In a sense, Christians are to be a conscience in society, speaking out against wickedness and injustice such as: abortion, pornography, perversion, human trafficking/slavery, corruption, crime and violence.
Through Bible teaching, prayer, persuasion, evangelism and example we are called to have a positive influence on all areas of life. The Great Commission requires us to make disciples of all nations, teaching obedience to all things that the Lord has commanded (Matthew 28:18-20).

May God continue to be your joy and strength.
Yours in His service
