“YOUR ARTICLE IS EMERGING FROM A POINT OF IGNORANCE, RATHER STICK WITH THE WORD AND PRAY!”
Thank you for your letter in response to our article, Compromise and Cowardice in an Age of Deceit.
It appears that you could not have really read the article if you call the message “emerging from a point of ignorance.” Anyone reading the article would see that it was not “personal self-centred views,” as you call it, but Bible-based and Christ-centered.
Your advice to “stick with the Word and pray” misses the point that the article is saturated with Scripture and seeks to apply the Lordship of Christ to all areas of life.
You have an address which seems to indicate that you are a student, or maybe a lecturer, at WITS University. Knowing how politicised and radicalised universities such as WITS have become, you must question how much your perception has been affected by that.
Thank you for your letter.
I must challenge you concerning your attitude toward the German people. It is no more fair to blame all Germans for what some Germans did 75 years ago, then it is to blame all Jews for the evils that continue to be done by pornographers, blasphemers and communists who are Jews. People must be evaluated on their individual merit, particularly in relationship to where they stand with the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is a tactic of Marxists to divide people and attribute guilt by race, or ethnicity. That is not Christian.
God has used German people like Martin Luther, Bach and Handel and so many more to be a blessing to all of us. We would not want to be judged by what other people did in other times and generations, neither should we do that to anyone else. Do to others as you want them to do to you.
May God continue to be your joy and strength.
In His service
Dr. Peter Hammond
