I am aware that the whole subject of Christmas has engendered much controversy.

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. To love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbours as ourselves. The Great Commission is to make disciples of all nations, teaching obedience to all things that the Lord has commanded.
We must reject all pagan idolatry and corruption. There is no place for lying to our children about mythical creatures like "Santa Claus" and "Father Christmas." There are many practises in our culture which need to be rejected as unChristian and pagan.
However, of course, we should use every opportunity to Evangelise, to call people to Christ and to proclaim His Word.
May God continue to be your joy and strength.
Yours for the fulfilment of the Great Commission
