​“Then I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the devil and satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and he cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more…” Revelation 20:1-3
 
Deceiving the Nations
We are warned that satan "…will go out to deceive the nations…" Revelation 20:8
 
The Bible continually warns us: "lest satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices." 2 Corinthians 2:11
 
"But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." 2 Corinthians 11:3
 
In the Book of Revelation we are told that at the end God will send an Angel to bind satan "so that he should deceive the nations no more…" Revelation 20:3
 
We are taught that: "…satan who deceives the whole world…" Revelation 12:9. Plainly satan is deceiving nations today.
 
“And war broke out in Heaven… that serpent of old, called the devil and satan who deceives the whole world…” Revelation 12:7
