RESISTING THE NEW WORLD DISORDER

“Therefore, take up the whole armour of God,
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day
and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13

Confrontation
Confronted as we are by deception in the news media, distraction and defilement in the entertainment industry, indoctrination in education institutions, intimidation by politicians and their bureaucratic bullies, by the rise of the Thought Police such as seen in the lockdown lunacy, masquerade madness, pandemic panic paranoia and propaganda salvation by vaccination Covid Cult, how are we to respond? “Everyone will deceive his neighbour and will not speak the truth; they have taught their tongue to speak lies; they weary themselves to commit iniquity.” Jeremiah 9:5

Resist the Tide of Tyranny
In this age of indoctrination and intimidation, it is essential that we respond with Resistance. We need to know what we believe, why we believe it and how to defend it in argument. We need to fear God alone and not man. Like Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego, we must not bow and we must not bend. Our God whom we serve is able to save us and He will. But even if He does not, we still will not bow to the idols of this world, nor will we serve their agenda. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1

Disconnect from Disinformation
The first and most important step of Resistance is to disconnect from the world’s depressing disinformation and distraction. Switch off and disconnect your TV. Cancel the cable subscriptions. Refuse to listen to their lies. “He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.” Psalm 101:7

Determine to Defy Their Defilement
Boycott blasphemy and delete defilement. So much what is called entertainment, particularly from the Hollywood blasphemous industry, is more like defilement. Boycott the blasphemous. Delete what defiles. Refuse exploitation in the name of entertainment. “Come out of her, My people, lest you share in her sins and lest you receive of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

Dismiss Disinformation
So much of what is called the mainstream media has become Lame Stream, dealing more in deception and disinformation than information. Whenever you see some major news focus, you should look around for the real story that they are trying to distract you from. Far from reporting “without fear or favour” the anti-Christian, pro-abortion, pro-perversion agenda of Slime magazine, Newsspeak, Useless News and World Report and the Communist News Network, the Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation and the Sunday Crimes, seem more like propaganda, distraction and deception. “Remove falsehood and lies far from me…” Proverbs 30:8

Refuse to Participate in the Lies of the World
“The simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie. One word of truth outweighs the world. You can resolve to live your life with integrity. Let your credo be: Let the lie come into the world… But not through me!” Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Refuse to Allow Your Children to be Indoctrinated in State Indoctrination Gulags
What the world calls education has, in all too many cases, been distorted into indoctrination in state schools which are increasingly becoming more like state indoctrination gulags. Teaching children fear rather than faith. Playing the masquerade rather than engaging real education. “I am much afraid that schools will prove to be wide gates to hell unless they diligently labour in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them on the hearts of the youth. I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not constantly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt.” Prof. Martin Luther

“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” Colossians 2:8

Distrust Big Tech, Big Pharma, Big Business and Big Government
The globalist agenda advances communist goals, eroding freedoms and centralizing power in big government. “While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption.”

Stand for Faith and Freedom in a Time of Apostacy and Tyranny
Disconnect from the New World Order indoctrination, disinformation, distraction and defilement industries. Resist censorship. Refuse to take part in their masquerade madness, lockdown lunacy and virus “vaccination” victimization. Instead, we should support decentralization, a free market and big families. We need to invest in Bibles, freedom, history, homes, family and Faith. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17

Reading is an Act of Resistance in a Landscape of Distraction
Resistance begins with reading. We need to invest in the mind. Readers make leaders. A reading Christian is a growing Christian. Build up your library with excellent Christian books that lay solid foundations for Biblical Reformation. “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16

Rediscover Your History
The founder of the modern communist movement, Karl Marx, declared that the first battlefield is the rewriting of history. Resist the cancel culture Marxist revolution which is seeking to distort and destroy our Christian heritage. Learning real History is a major step to real Resistance to the new world disorder. Read books such as: What if Jesus had Never Been Born, Victorious Christians Who Changed the World, The Greatest Century of Reformation, The Greatest Century of Missions, Sketches from South African History and other biographies of those who built up Christian civilization. “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition...” 1 Corinthians 10:11

Resistance by Home Education
Instead of big government, support big families. Respond to revolution with Resistance and Reformation. Instead of subjecting your children to the world’s indoctrination, invest in your children and your grandchildren through home education. Supporting Christian home-based education curriculums is one of the most important, strategic and influential steps for Faith and freedom that anyone can possibly take. “And these Words which I commanded you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children…” Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Traditional Families are Real Resistance to Revolution
In this age of secular humanist Marxist anti-Christian revolution and the promotion of perversion, one of the most effective and long-lasting acts of Resistance is to get married to a God-fearing spouse and have lots of children. Investing in future generations by reforming your family and raising up a new generation in the love and fear of the Lord will have long-lasting, eternal consequences. “Therefore, know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.” Deuteronomy 7:9

Resist the New World Disorder by Supporting Alternative Media
Refuse to be deceived and distracted by the disinformation industry of the new world disorder. Support alternative Christian media, like JOY! Magazine, podcasts, websites, mailing lists and social media platforms that stand for Faith and freedom. “The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness.” Proverbs 15:14

Support Excellence in Entertainment
Instead of allowing ourselves to be defiled by the exploitative Hollywood blasphemy industry, we should support excellence in art and entertainment from Christian film makers, like the Kendrick Bothers and Frans Cronje, Christian musicians and artists. “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8

Start or Support a Bible Study, Prayer and Action Group
One of the most practical acts of Resistance that anyone can take against the New World Order is to either join a Bible study and prayer group, or to start one. Small Bible study and prayer groups, committed to working through every Book of the Bible and discussing how best to apply these principles to every area of life lay solid foundations for back to the Bible Reformation and Spiritual Revival. Can you start a Bible study, prayer and action group in your home? Or in your congregation? Or at your workplace? Or at school or college? “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2

Learn from Christian History
“Stand in the ways and see and ask for the old paths, where the good way is and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls… Also, I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’” Jeremiah 6:16-17

Expose and Oppose Deceit, Deception and Decadence
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:11

Are you Willing to Stand in the Gap and Make a Difference?
“So, I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it...” Ezekiel 22:30

Pray the Psalms
The Psalms are the largest Book in the Bible. The middle Book of the Bible. The Hymn Book and Prayer Book of the Bible. Pray the imprecatory Psalms. Pray against the evil. Pray for Justice. Pray for Heaven-sent Revival. Revive the Prayer meeting and pray the Psalms. “Who will rise up for Me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for Me against the workers of iniquity?” Psalm 94:16

Make a Stand for Faith and Freedom
Start, or join, a Bible study, prayer and action group. We want to fear God alone, freed from the fear of man. Disconnect from the world indoctrination and disinformation. Invest in discipleship and mentorship. Make Christ’s Great Commission your supreme ambition. Stand up for Jesus. Step out in faith. Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. Fight the good fight of Faith. Invest in home education. Support alternative News Media. Invest in future generations by raising up a new generation in the love and the fear of the Lord. “You are the salt of the earth…You are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-16

Victory is Assured
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:57-58

As a Missionary, who for 38 years has concentrated on serving persecuted Christians in Restricted Access Areas, I have travelled in 42 countries and worked in 38 countries across 4 continents. This included throughout Eastern Europe, behind the Iron Curtain, during the Cold War.

Yugoslavia
When I first visited Yugoslavia and heard people in Croatia speaking about their need for independence, I was highly skeptical that it could succeed. Yugoslavia consisted of six republics, five nations, four languages, three major religions, two alphabets, but only one political party – the Communist Party.

Croatia
In 1990, the first multiparty elections were held in Croatia. On 25 June 1991, Croatia declared independence, which came into effect 8 October 1991. By 15 January 1992, Croatia was recognised as an independent country by the European Economic Community. The aggression by Yugoslavia was effectively ended August 1995, with a decisive victory by Croatia. Since then, 5 August has been observed as a Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day.

Slovenia
In Slovenia, a group of intellectuals articulated the case for Slovene independence in 1987, in the magazine Nova Revija. The Committee for the Defense of Human Rights was formed. Demands for democratisation and independence for Slovenia forced the communist government to enact a number of democratic reforms. In September 1989, constitutional amendments were passed to introduce parliamentary democracy to Slovenia. On 7 March 1990 the Slovenian assembly changed the official name of the state to the Republic of Slovenia. April 1990, the first democratic elections in Slovenia took place. On 23 December 1990, more than 88% of the electorate voted in a referendum for a sovereign and independent Slovenia. Slovenia declared independence 25 June 1991. The Yugoslav People’s Army invaded on 27 June 1991, which led to the 10-Day War. The result was the Brijuni Agreement and the withdrawal of the Yugoslav army from Slovenia. December 1991, a new constitution was adopted, followed by laws on denationalisation and privatisation of state enterprises in 1992. The members of the European Union recognised Slovenia as an independent state on 15 January 1992.

Slovakia
When I first travelled to Bratislava, in Czechoslovakia, talk of the Slovakians seceding from Czechoslovakia seemed unrealistic and impossible. The Christians were adamant that Slovakia must become an independent country. Indeed, following the collapse of communist rule in Czechoslovakia in 1989 and withdrawal of the Soviet Red Army, the Slovak Socialist Republic was renamed the Slovak Republic and on 17 July 1992, Slovakia declared itself a sovereign state, meaning that its laws took precedence over those of the federal government. Throughout the autumn of 1992, negotiations with the Czech Federal government resulted in the vote, 31 December 1992, to dissolve Czechoslovakia. The Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic went their separate ways after 1 January 1993. As the overthrow of communist rule in Czechoslovakia had been called The Velvet Revolution, the peaceful separation of Czech and Slovakia was called The Velvet Divorce.

The Baltic States
Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia are three Baltic states which were occupied over the centuries by Sweden, Poland and Russia.

Latvia
The Republic of Latvia was established 18 November 1918, when it seceded from the Soviet Union. In 1940, Latvia was invaded by the Soviet Union. Later Latvia was liberated by German forces during Operation Barbarossa in 1941. In 1944, the Soviet Red Army again invaded Latvia and forced it back into the Soviet Union. Starting in 1987, the Singing Revolution called for Baltic emancipation from communism and Soviet occupation. On 4 May 1990, the Declaration on the Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Latvia was issued and on 21 August 1991, Latvia declared its independence. Latvia has been declared the capital of Culture in Europe and its capital, Riga, has hosted the Choir Olympics, which my daughter, as part of the Cape Town Youth Choir, participated in. Over 140 choirs from around the world gathered in Riga for this event.

Estonia
Estonia was also occupied over the centuries by Polish, Swedish and Russian forces and declared independence, 24 February 1918. On 6 August 1940, Estonia was invaded and occupied by the Soviet Red Army and incorporated into the Soviet Union. Estonians continued to resist the Soviet occupation for years after the Second World War. The Forest Brothers’ Resistance movement opposed the Soviet policy of collectivisation and forced removals of Estonians to make way for Russian immigration. In 1987, the Singing Revolution began and by 1988, the Popular Front of Estonia became the standard-bearer for Estonian independence. The Estonian National Independence Party was the first non-communist party in the Soviet Union. It demanded full restoration of independence. On 16 November 1988, the Estonian Supreme Soviet issued a sovereignty declaration asserting the primacy of Estonian laws over Soviet Union laws. On 23 August 1989, about 2 million Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians participated in a mass demonstration forming the Baltic Way human chain across the three republics demanding restoration of independence. In 1990, the Congress of Estonia was formed as a representative body of Estonian citizens. In March 1991, a Referendum was held, where 77% of voters supported independence. A Moscow coup attempt was exposed and resisted and Estonia declared its restoration of independence 20 August 1990, which is now observed as a national holiday in Estonia. The last units of the Red Army left Estonia in 1994. In 1992, Estonia launched economic reforms for privatisation and free market economy. In 2004, Estonia joined the European Union and NATO.

Lithuania
Lithuania seceded from the Soviet Union on 16 February 1918, to form the Republic of Lithuania. In 1940, Lithuania was invaded and occupied by the Soviet Red Army. On 11 March 1990, a year before the formal disillusion of the Soviet Union, Lithuania became the first Baltic state to declare itself independent. On 11 March 1990, the Supreme Council announced the restoration of Lithuania’s independence. On 28 March 1990, the USSR imposed an economic blockade on Lithuania. The blockade lasted 74 days, but Lithuania stood firm. When the Soviet Union attempted a coup in Lithuania, storming the Seimas Palace, Lithuanians vigorously defended their Council and inspired other Soviet republics to secede from the Union. Shortly after 11 February 1991, the parliament of Iceland voted to confirm that Iceland’s 1922 recognition of Lithuanian independence was still in effect as it had never formally recognised the Soviet Union’s occupation of Lithuania. Iceland stated that full diplomatic relations should be re-established as soon as possible. On 25 October 1992, the citizens of Lithuania voted in a referendum to adopt their new constitution. On 31 August 1993, the last units of the Soviet Red Army left Lithuanian territory. Since 2004, Lithuania has been a member of NATO and of the European Union.

Under Fire in Sudan
Since 1995, I have been involved in the campaign for South Sudan’s independence. From 1995 to 2002, I conducted 27 missions to Sudan, delivering over half a million Bibles and books in 24 languages throughout Southern Sudan and the Nuba Mountains. During this time, I conducted over 1,200 meetings in Sudan and over 1,000 meetings, radio and TV programmes internationally, to campaign for South Sudan’s independence. This involved writing the book Faith Under Fire in Sudan, the third edition being three times the size of the original 1996 edition. I brought in filmmakers, such as Pat Matriciana of Jeremiah Films, to produce Sudan the Hidden Holocaust and Terrorism and Persecution and also assisted Samaritans Purse with their first films on Sudan and helped establish them in the hospital pioneered by Dr. Fraser in Lui.

Independence is Essential for Future Peace and Freedom
Initially, even the leaders of the Sudanese People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) were skeptical that the map could ever be redrawn, as the African Union had resisted any changes to the borders delineated in the Berlin Conference of 1884-1885. I argued strenuously with Colonel John Garang, the leader of the SPLA and Commander Silva Kiir, the second in Command of the SPLA, that only independence for South Sudan could secure their future and freedom. Anything else would mean the continuation of oppression by the Arab North, as they would be a minority in their own country. Although Blacks are a majority in South Sudan, they were a minority in the whole country in Sudan. Missionaries had pleaded with Great Britain in 1955 not to include the Black Christians and animists of the South into an Arab ruled Sudan. Suggestions were made to incorporate Equatoria into Kenya or Uganda, but to no avail.

Islamisation and Arabisation
From the very first day of independence, 1 January 1956, the Arab North sought to Arabise and Islamise the South with brutal oppression, great devastation and loss of life. I showed from Sudan’s history and from the teachings of Islam, why the only way to be free of Shari'a law and Arab oppression was to fight for full independence and sovereignty of South Sudan and the Nuba Mountains.

South Sudan is Now an Independent Country
Although they were highly skeptical that it was at all possible, today South Sudan is an independent country and Silva Kiir has been its first president since 9 July 2011.

The Nuba Mountains of Sudan
Today we continue to campaign for freedom and independence for the Nuba Mountains, which is an island of Christianity in a sea of Islam. The courageous Nuban Christians continue to resist the Arabisation and Islamisation policies of the Khartoum government in South Kordofan. Redrawing of the map is absolutely essential to recognise ethnolinguistic, demographic realities and to avoid further loss of life and future conflict.

Resist Centralisation – Support De-Centralisation
We must not continue to follow in the footsteps of failure. Centralisation and a unitary state is as doomed to failure as the Tower of Babel. We need to emulate examples of excellence such as the decentralised model of Switzerland and the free enterprise model of Singapore.

The Legacy of the Berlin Conference
The Berlin Conference of 1884-1885, also known as the Congo Conference, or West Africa Conference, sought to avoid conflict by regularising European protectorates and colonies in Africa to effectively eradicate the slave trade and to avoid conflict between the European powers. The European powers gathered at the European conference, were also seeking to prevent rising American, Russian and Japanese encroachments on Africa. However, due to lack of information and a very incomplete understanding of the realities of Africa, often borders were drawn along lines of longitude, or latitude, or utilising a river. The fact that tribes and nations lived along both sides of those arbitrary border markings, was doubtless not realised at the time.

Maps Need to Be Redrawn
However, in my missionary work, it has become clear that the map needs to be redrawn. Half of the Shangaan people live in Mozambique and speak Portuguese and the other half live in South Africa and speak English. Half of the Ovambo people live in Angola where they learned Portuguese and drove on the right hand side of the road, whereas the other half were in South West Africa/Namibia learning Afrikaans or English and driving on the left hand side of the road. Moreover they were in two different time zones, despite being North and South of one another. The Chichewa people are divided between Malawi, Zambia and Mozambique and so one could continue throughout Africa.

To Prevent Wars
The greatest conflicts in Africa, including the Biafran Civil War in Nigeria, 1967–1970, most of the Congo wars and the long conflict in Sudan, would have all been averted, if the maps had reflected demographic realities and not forced some people to be minorities in their own country, oppressed by other tribes, cultures, or religions.

South Sudan’s Independence Gives Hope to Other Secession Movements
It is inexcusable that since independence the Organisation of African Unity has steadfastly refused to allow maps to be redrawn. The apparent exception being Eritrea. But Eritrea was a separate entity and only forced to be part of Abyssinia after the Second World War. This led to a longstanding civil war until Eritrea’s independence was re-established in 1991. So, the redrawing of the maps and recognising of independence of South Sudan was a monumentally important precedent.

History testifies how God has blessed and used the Christian nations to bless all the families of the nations of the earth. The Protestant nations of Western Europe have a great Christian heritage. Despite violent opposition, Protestants emerged from the fires of persecution to change lives, make history and transform nations. Faithful believers contended for the Faith, preserved and translated God's Word, Reformed the Church and vigorously proclaimed the Word of God to all nations.

A Heritage of Faith and Freedom
Christian civilisation achieved the highest levels of productivity, innovation, scientific discoveries, medical advances, missionary outreaches, works of mercy, successfully campaigned to end the slave trade and set the captives free, laying foundations for justice through the rule of law. The legacy of Faith and freedom through Christian Europe is unparalleled in the history of the world.

"All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. For the Kingdom is the Lord's and He rules over the nations. All …shall bow before Him… a posterity shall serve Him. It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation. They will come and declare His righteousness, to people who will yet be born, that He has done this." Psalm 22:27-31

The Greatest Century of Missions
The 19th century was the greatest century of Missionary advance. It was a century of astounding inventions and of spectacular advances in technology. Many countries experienced dramatic spiritual Revivals. Christian missionaries won whole tribes and nations to Christ, in the remotest regions of the globe.

To the Ends of the Earth
Christianity came to the beginning of the 20th century on a rising and apparently unstoppable tide. Christianity was gaining spectacular momentum as missionaries from Europe were Evangelising and discipling virtually every tribe and nation. The Protestant Faith had far outstripped the Catholic and Orthodox branches in missionary activity, vitality and initiative. The Protestant Faith had become the dominant Faith of the most productive, powerful and prosperous nations in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Amidst irrepressible optimism, many were openly speaking of the beginning of the Biblical Millennium on earth.

Retreat from Victory
At the first World Missions Conference in Edinburgh in 1910, delegates were anticipating the completion of the Great Commission within their generation. No one in 1910 would have anticipated the wholesale abandonment of entire nations to communism, false religions and heathenism. Nor would anyone have predicted that the church would retreat from victory to such an extent that they would be questioning the existence of the devil, or hell, or reinterpreting marriage to include what God, in the Bible, describes as perversion and an abomination.

World War
The Christian era of bold missionary expansion came to an abrupt halt as the guns of August 1914 erupted. The great European countries, which have been the heartland of Christendom, and the source of most of the world's missionaries devastated each others economies and annihilated millions of one another's young men, in what has to be recognised at the most tragic and senseless conflict in history.

Sinister Manipulation
The sinister bankers who pulled the strings behind the scenes and engineered the auto genocide of Europe, were also the ones who owned many of the companies that made the machine guns, bullets, bombs, shells and artillery, that destroyed the cream of Europe. There are numerous studies that have shown the role of Freemason bankers and politicians such as Lord Nathan Rothschild, whose goal was to bring down Christian civilisation. Nothing could have stopped the positive onward march of Christianity world wide, except that Christians were persuaded to kill one another so enthusiastically, and so efficiently, in the First World War.

Secularisation and Revolution
Even more devastating than the actual numbers of people killed, crippled, or severely injured, was the damage to the spiritual life of Europe. The secularisation of Europe and the breakdown of moral standards, coincided with the great resurgence of Revolutionary fervour and Marxist Communism, which filled the vacuum left by the collapse of the Russian, German and Austrian Empires.

The Worst Century of Persecution
If the 19th century was the greatest century of Missionary advance, the 20th century proved to be the worst century of persecution in history. More Christians were martyred for their faith in the 20th century than in all the previous 19 centuries combined. Looking back over the last 100 years, one can discern how secular humanists have systematically hijacked Christian civilisation.

Infiltration and Subversion
Marxists have targeted 5 major culture-shaping institutions for infiltration: educational institutions; the entertainment industry; the news media; religious institutions; and political institutions.

The Battle for the Mind
Marxist revolutionaries, secular humanists, atheists and evolutionists have so thoroughly infiltrated most of the universities of Europe and North America, that today God is not only banished from the curriculum, but Christianity and its contributions to civilisation are marginalised, ignored, or vilified. Even scientists advocating Intelligent Design are mercilessly hounded from institutions of higher learning. Instead of education, teaching people how to think, we now mostly have indoctrination, telling students what to think.

Rearranging Reality
Anti-Christian secular humanists have dominated the entertainment industry over the last century, subverting families and undermining morality at every turn. Particularly insidious has been the spate of "This is a true story", or "Based on a true story", or "Inspired by true events" rewriting of history and distorting of reality.

The First Battlefield
As Karl Marx declared: "The first battlefield is the rewriting of history". Marx's disciples have been very busy, through both the educational institutions and in the entertainment industry, in re-writing history.

Corrupt and Conquer
The news media has also come to be overwhelming dominated by secular humanist prejudice against Christianity. The secular humanist mass media has been consistently ignoring the relentless anti-Christian persecution by communist and Muslim governments. Through selective focus and distortion of reality, the mass media has effectively brainwashed generations of Christians to vote for those who hate Christian values, and to idolise those who are the intractable enemies of the Faith.

Confuse, Divide and Conquer
Most of the mainline denominations have been infiltrated by secular humanists, called liberal theologians, who have gutted the churches of the Biblical Gospel and produced generations of spineless evangellyfish. Many churches are filled with pseudo-saved, semi-saved, half-saved, un-saved pew warmers who have never been truly converted, nor have they come into any real relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

National Suicide
As a result of the successful infiltration by secular humanists of education institutions, the entertainment industry, the news media and religious institutions, control over political institutions has been inevitable. Those who argue for the good of their nation are shouted down and vilified as dangers to society. Most nations now seemed, to be governed by political parties determined to commit national suicide and sell out their nations' sovereignty to internationalists.

The United Nations
The hostility of the United Nations to everything Christian is obvious by their consistent support for nations which persecute the Church and failure to effectively address the targeting of Christian minorities. The disgraceful track record of the United Nations, when they have militarily intervened in nations, reveals their true nature. The United Nations mission to the Congo, the invasion of Katanga and forcing that stable, pro-Western state to re-join the communist chaos of the Congo, the atrocities perpetrated against Christian civilians by UN forces in the Congo, are well documented in The Fearful Master.

Treachery in Rwanda
The United Nations complicity in disarming the general population in Rwanda, enabled the Rwandan holocaust of April/May 1994. More people were killed by machetes in 6 weeks in Rwanda, than have died from nuclear weapons in all of history. The United Nations forces stood by and failed to save lives. As Holocaust in Rwanda and the British film "Shooting Dogs" documents, the United Nations actually handed over thousands of Christian refugees who had fled to them for protection into the hands of the Interhambwe mass-murderers who slaughtered them.

Human Trafficking
The United Nations involvement in human trafficking, has also been well documented and is dramatized in the book and film The Whistleblower based on policewoman Kathryn Bolkovac's experiences in Bosnia.

Globalism
The three main pillars of the New World Order that the global elite want to bring about are: A One World Economy, a One World Government and a One World Religion. Their shorthand to describe all this is: Globalism.

One World Religion
As the United Nations is working for a one-world government, so the World Council of Churches is working for a one-world religion. The World Council of Churches and its local member bodies, such as the National Council of Churches in America, and the South African Council of Churches in South Africa, promote interfaith conferences and urge us to focus on our "shared religious traditions." This interfaith movement is being promoted by Non-Governmental Organisations, charity foundations, and prominent politicians worldwide.

WCC
The WCC claims to represent 349 churches, denominations and church fellowships, in more than 110 countries and territories around the world, representing over 560 million Christians. WCC members include most of the world's Orthodox churches, Anglicans, Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians and some Baptist, United and Independent churches. Most, though not all, WCC members tend to be very liberal theologically and are experiencing dramatic decline in church attendance. Many of the people they claim as members have been concerted and left the WCC affiliates to join Evangelical churches.

Qur'an in Church
One high profile event that epitomises this move towards a One World Religion, is when on 26 June 2011, the National Cathedral in Washington DC, and approximately 50 other churches in the US, publically read from the Qur'an during their Sunday worship services. This is under the theme of: "Faith shared: Uniting in Prayer and Understanding."

Interfaith Worship
Nor is this promotion of interfaith worship limited to liberal Theologians of the National Council of Churches. Prominent Evangelical leaders Rick Warren, Brian McLaren, Bill Hybels and Robert Schuller signed a letter to the Islamic community, entitled "Loving God and Neighbour Together". This letter claimed that Christians consider Allah and the Christian God to be the same! Brian McLaren, a key leader in the Emerging church movement actually has celebrated Ramadan.

Treason From Within
The Roman leader Cicero, in 42BC, wrote: "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not traitor, he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night, to undermine the pillars of a city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to be feared."

Brave New World
Aldous Huxley in 1932, published The Brave New World. This book describes as future state of human slavery where people live carefree lives in a technologically advanced society, subdued by drugs and bombarded with endless stimulations and distractions. The 20th century idols of atheism, humanism and communism have now become mainstream.

Towards a New World Order
The first attempt to establish a New World Order was by the people who came to the land of Shinar (present day Iraq) and built the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11). Others have tried since: Nebuchadnezzar with his Babylonian Empire, Alexander the Great with his Greek/Macedonian Empire, The Roman Empire, Genghis Khan and the Mongols, Napoleon and the Communist International. George Bush senior and Soviet President, Mikhail Gorbachev, repeatedly spoke of a New World Order in the early 90s. US President, Bill Clinton, regularly spoke of the New World Order as being of the highest priority on the International Agenda.

The Right Crisis
In a statement to the United Nations Business Council in September 1994, David Rockefeller said: "We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."

Extortion
Henry Ford declared: "It is well the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."

Tragedy and Hope
Carroll Quigley wrote in his massive book Tragedy and Hope (published by McMillan in 1966) "Their aim is nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. The system was to be controlled in a feudalistic fashion by the central banks of the world, acting in concert, by a secret agreement arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences."

The Manipulators
Major players in working to bring about this New World Order include the Trilateral Commission, also known as the Council of Foreign Relations and the Bilderbergers. These groups work behind the scenes, but there more prominent tools are the United Nations and the World Council of Churches.

Constructive Chaos
The New World Order has used wars, economic depressions and recessions and population control to undermine Western civilisation and bring about their Globalist Agenda.

Demographic Engineering
Through aggressive population control tactics, promoting birth control, abortion, sterilisations and massive propaganda of "Overpopulation" the globalist aim to dramatically bring down the population of Europeans and Americans. Then, by betraying stable governments in Africa, Asia and South America, and bringing about economic collapse, a vast movement of refugee populations has been stimulated into Europe, North America, South Africa and Australia. By dramatically decreasing populations of those countries traditionally Christian and exploding the populations of mostly pagan and anti-Christian races the goal is a dramatic change in demographics and the death of the West.

Eurabia
The sharp decline of the birth rate of Europeans and the massive influx of Muslim immigrants into Europe, for example, is hoped to bring about a transformation of Europe into Eurabia. The goal in all of this is a world population more amenable to manipulation and control by the Globalists for their New World Order.

Population Control
From America being a mostly Protestant Christian nation of people from a European background, the promotion of population control methods to suppress the growth of the white Americans and stimulating a huge influx of immigrants from Third World nations will soon bring America to the position where the demographics of America are radically altered.

Neutralising the Church
To distract and neutralise the Christian Church, false doctrines and heresies have been vigorously promoted. Pacifism has been promoted and a rapture fever obsession with end times prophecies has greatly distracted many Christians.

Defeatism and Escapism
Antinomianism has gutted the Church of the Law of the Lord which is perfect, which converts the soul. Defeatism and escapism have neutralised many Churches. Worldly music, age segregated services, youth groups which entertain rather than educate, have further undermined the Christian resistance to the New Wold Order.

Derailing the Church
Discernment is plainly at a low ebb in the average Western church. Sensationalism, materialism, idolatrous elevating of high profile tele-evangelists and faith healers have side-tracked many believers from fulfilling the Great Commission.

Hijacking Education
Most Christians barely notice that secular humanists have hijacked the schools and have continued to send their children to, what are effectively, anti-Christian brainwashing institutions. Theological seminaries have generally been infiltrated by liberal Theologians and those who hold to Theistic Evolution. The resulting undermining of Biblical Christianity throughout many denominations is analogise to a cancer working its way through, what used to be, a healthy body.

Removing Obstacles to the New World Order
The New World Order worked hard at destroying those states that attempted to uphold Christian values. Hence the extraordinary international campaigns against Rhodesia and South Africa in the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Destroying the Middle Class
The destruction of much of the middle class through financial crises such as the triggered by the banks selling worthless derivatives which caused the 2008 economic collapse, cost tens-of-millions of people their jobs, their savings and their homes.

How Can We Resist the New World Order?
First, we need to know our enemy.
"My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge…" Hosea 4:6

We need to recognise their tactics.
"Another generation grew up, who knew neither the Lord, nor what He had done…" Judges 2:10

Wide Gates to Hell
German Reformer, Dr. Martin Luther, warned: "I am much afraid that schools will prove to be wide gates to hell, unless they diligently labour in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not constantly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt."

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Psalm 111:10

You cannot trust any government state with the moulding of the minds of future voters. God commanded His people: "Learn not the way of the heathen." Jeremiah 10:2

The control of education should be in the hands of parents and the content of education must be Bible-based. Children do not belong to the state. Children are made in the image of God and are entrusted to parents to: "Bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Ephesians 6:4

Christian Education
All parents must become involved in the Parents Teacher Associations of their local school and take an active role in their education of their young, according to Biblical principles. Christian schools should be supported. Home schooling should be prayerfully considered by those parents who have the means to do so.

The Battle for the Family
Christians should have large families and ensure that they are brought up in the love and the fear of the Lord. Teaching is an integral part of the Great Commission and therefore an indispensable part of our Mission. Christian parents and church leaders must give high priority to the establishment and supporting of Christian schools and home schooling.

"We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord… He commanded our forefathers to teach their children… and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God." Psalm 78:4-7

The Great Commission
We must never allow any distractions to deter us from obeying Christ's Great Commission. Our purpose on earth is to: "Make disciples… teaching obedience" Matthew 28:19-20. The lifeblood of the Church is its Evangelistic zeal. No matter what the situation, or how adverse the circumstances may seem to be, our Lord commands us to: "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction." 2 Timothy 4:2

Vision
"Where there is no vision a people perish…" Proverbs 29:18. Our people need a positive and practical vision from the Word of God for our personal lives, for our churches, for our nations and for the world.

Symptoms
We need to squarely face the great moral challenges of our day, including the symptoms of our moral sickness: deception in the news media, degenerate entertainment, dishonesty in business, decadence in government…

Recognise the Root Causes
What is even more important is that we recognise the root causes: ineffective churches, insipid preaching, irresponsible leaders, a rejection of God's Law as the foundation for our families, churches and nation, neglect of the Bible, prayerlessness, selfishness, confusion, compromise, cowardice and, at the very core, a lack of wholehearted love for God.

Issue Evasion
If our churches are motivated primarily by growth in members, finance, buildings and community prestige then issue evasion, a policy of non-confrontation and compromise is inevitable. Building our own empire does not allow for serving the Kingdom of God.

What Do You Stand For?
In the demands for greater and more spectacular crusades, churches have concentrated on how to get converts - not on what they are supposed to be converted for.
This is because escapism sells better than service.
Forgiveness attracts more members than teaching obedience.
Blessings are far more popular than sacrifice.
Many churches primarily stand for escape and entertainment, offering forgiveness to those who neither want to obey, nor serve.
Churches which are obsessed with growth cannot afford to upset the peace and affluence of their members, or prospective members.

Choose This Day
For many it is a choice between:
Popularity or Principle,
Prestige or Persecution,
Prosperity or Powerful Christianity,
Sensationalism or Spirituality,
Success or Sacrifice,
Serving man or Serving God,
Church growth or Church depth,
Respectability before man or Revival from God.

Compromise
The result is that all too many churches are entertaining their members, rather than educating them with expositionary preaching from God's Word. They are comforting their members instead of challenging them in confronting sin. Many prefer revelry to preaching Repentance.

"Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your Throne; love and faithfulness go before You." Psalm 89:14

Priorities
We must give our highest priority to loving, worshiping, serving, obeying and honouring God. We need a Biblical vision of righteousness, justice, love and compassion. "The Lord loves righteousness and justice…" Psalm 33:5

"Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts." Amos 5:15

"Clothe yourselves with compassion." Colossians 3:12

"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for Me." Matthew 25:40

A Positive Programme
We need to promote a renewed vision, revitalised leadership, a restored nation, through returning to God in Repentance, rediscovering the Biblical Agenda, rebuilding the walls of our society, resisting the demands for cultural suicide, resolutely working for Reformation and praying for Revival.

Support Christian Media
We must support Christian alternatives to the secular humanist dominated media: Subscribe to JOY! and JUIG! Magazines and Christian Action. Become a local distributor for these magazines in your church.

"And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone." 1 Thessalonians 5:15

Be Informed
Get on the mailing lists and e-mailing lists of Missions and ministries working for Reformation and Revival. Support KwaSizabantu Mission, Frontline Fellowship, Way of the Master, The Reformation Society, Christian Action and Evangelism Explosion.

Renew Minds and Change Communities
Attend, or organise, a local Biblical Worldview Seminar to teach your people how to be effective in winning the cultural war, the battle for the family, and the battle for the mind. Praise God for ministries such as, Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum, which are providing Biblical and scientific answers for a skeptical and increasingly secular world.

"Love your neighbour as yourself… go and do likewise." Luke 10:27-37

Luke 6:26

It is interesting how, in spite of all the warnings in Scripture against gossip, slander and tale bearing, just how much stock we tend to place in people's opinions. It is said that where there is smoke there is fire. However, the smoke may be no more than dust and hot air.

Lies Travel Fast
As Mark Twain observed: "A lie can travel halfway across the world while truth is still getting its boots on!"

How to Receive an Evil Report
The great Baptist preacher, C.H. Spurgeon, warned: "Believe not half you hear; repeat not half you believe. When you hear an evil report, halve it, then quarter it and say nothing about the rest of it."

The Greatest Injury
The great Reformer, John Calvin, declared: "No greater injury can be inflicted upon men than to ruin their reputation."

Serving satan
Thomas Brooks taught: "Of all the members in the body, there is none so serviceable to Satan as the tongue."

John Calvin wrote: "There is nothing more slippery or loose than the tongue."

Zealous Characters are Targeted
C. H. Spurgeon wrote: "The more prominent you are in Christ's service, the more certain are you to be the butt of calumny. I have long ago said farewell to my character. I lost it in the early days of my ministry by being a little more zealous than suited a slumbering age. And I have never been able to regain it except in the sight of Him who judges all the earth and in the hearts of those who love me for my work's sake."

Be Considerate and Humble
The Scriptures command us "to slander no-one, to be peaceable and considerate and to show true humility toward all men." Titus 3:2

Slander is Inseparable from Malice
"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice." Ephesians 4:31. Yet gossip remains prevalent within the church and the arrogance, bitterness, jealousy and malice that so often accompany it generally remains unchallenged.

Refuse to Receive Gossip
King David wrote: "Whoever slanders his neighbour in secret, him will I put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, him will I not endure." Psalm 101:5. Today, however, it is more common to publish the slanders than to silence or rebuke them. Few seem to consider that whoever gossips to you will gossip of you.

The Golden Rule
The teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ are very clear. "In everything do to others what you would have them do to you. For this sums up the Law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12

Unforgiveness is Forbidden
When we pray we are to say: "Forgive us our debts as we have also forgiven our debtors…. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." Matthew 6:12-15

Insult is Unavoidable
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in Heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

Rejoice in Spite of Reproach
"Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in Heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets…Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets." Luke 6:22-26

People’s Opinions are Frequently False
Why then do we continue to place such value upon people's opinions? After all, mass murdering tyrants like Joseph Stalin and Mao Tse Tung have been "Man of the Year" of Time Magazine.

People Pleasers Make Traitors
"Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I was still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ." Galatians 1:10

Even Jesus Had His Judas
Our Lord Jesus Christ warned us: "Many will turn away from the Faith and will betray and hate each other." Matthew 24:10. Even one of Jesus' handpicked disciples, Judas, who was trusted as the treasurer of "The Twelve" took money from the high priests to betray our Lord Jesus Christ into their hands (Luke 22:8; John 13:21).

The Majority Believed the Negative Report
When Moses sent out twelve scouts to explore the land, ten returned with a negative and defeatist report and "made the whole community grumble" to the point of even wanting to stone Joshua and Caleb (Numbers 14:36). Only Joshua and Caleb, of the twelve, came back with a good report. The Lord severely judged the ten complainers and mightily blessed the faithful Joshua and Caleb (Numbers 16:38).

Criticising Calvin
The great French Reformer, John Calvin, transformed Geneva through his preaching, teaching, writings and Academy. Under John Calvin's ministry, Geneva became the intellectual centre and hub of the Reformation, a place of religious freedom and refuge for Protestants fleeing persecution. Geneva also became a sending base for evangelists, pastors and missionaries who established literally thousands of Reformed churches throughout Europe and further afield.

Yet historians have noted that: "No good man has ever had a worse press; no Christian theologian is so often scorned; so regularly attacked."

Throughout his life Calvin faced major opposition, often from fellow Protestants and other theologians: "whose objections to Calvin were incessant and, usually, unpleasant." Even today, there are those who maintain that John Calvin was a vicious tyrant who oppressed the people under an unbearable dictatorship. That he had people executed for disagreeing with him.

Facts Ruin a Good Story
Yet, the facts are: Calvin never ruled Geneva. The city was not a totalitarian society, but a republic with elections and dissent. Calvin held no civil office, he could neither arrest nor punish any citizen, nor could he appoint or dismiss any official. (To argue that his eloquence and logic constituted tyranny, is to invent a new standard.) History records that refugees from all over Europe flooded to Geneva to find the freedom there that they were not able to enjoy in their home countries. Under Calvin, Geneva developed into Europe's greatest concentration of printers and publishing firms. It became the epicentre of the movement for freedom worldwide. Yet Calvin continues to be slandered by ignorant and prejudiced people.

Libel Against Luther
Similarly, the great German Reformer, Martin Luther, continues to be slandered to this day. Whole websites are dedicated to depicting Luther as an anti-Semite who laid foundations for the holocaust!

Facts That Undermine the Lies
The accusation that Martin Luther was an anti-Semite, responsible for massacres, reveals an ignorance of history. Luther was pro-Christ and he was zealous in evangelism. For decades he lovingly and patiently reached out to the Jewish people in his area with the Gospel. In 1523, Luther accused Catholics of being unfair to Jews in treating them "as if they were dogs". Luther was outraged and declared that such mistreatment made it even more difficult for Jews to convert to Christ.

Luther wrote "I would request and advise that one deal gently with the Jews…if we really want to help them, we must be guided in our dealings with them, not by papal law, but by the Law of Christian love. We must receive them cordially and permit them to trade and work with us, hear our Christian teaching and witness our Christian life. If some of them should prove stiff-necked, what of it? After all, we ourselves are not all good Christians either."

Opposing Blasphemy
Fifteen years later, however, the persistent rejection of Christ and repeated blasphemies of those Jewish people in his community, provoked Luther to write: "On the Jews and their Lies." In this booklet, Luther wrote against the "madness and blindness that blasphemes Christ" in the Rabbinic teachings. Luther declared that he could not "have any fellowship or patience with obstinate blasphemers and those who defame our dear Saviour." These blasphemies included describing our Lord Jesus Christ as "the bastard son" of "that whore Mary" and even worse. Blasphemy was a civil crime. Luther taught that to tolerate such blasphemy was to share in the guilt for it. Therefore, he proposed measures of "sharp mercy" which included confiscating all Jewish literature which was blasphemous and prohibiting Rabbis to teach such blasphemy.

Illogical Projection of Guilt
However, to quote these reactions of Luther without explaining their local context of opposing the repeated blasphemies of Jewish individuals in his community and then to project guilt for the anti-Christian holocaust of World War II upon the great 16th Century Reformer is ludicrous. How can any Christian Reformer of the 16th Century be blamed for evils perpetrated by humanists (who clearly rejected his teachings) nearly 400 years after his death!

Luther Was Pro-Christ
Luther was not an anti-Semite. His arguments against Jewish individuals were theological, not biological or cultural. He was speaking out against blasphemy and heresy, not opposing an entire race or nation of people.

Anti-Christian Prejudice
It is most disturbing that such a humble and God fearing man, who, against all odds, gave to the church and the world the Bible, freely available in the common tongue; who introduced congregational singing; championed justification by God's Grace, received by faith, on the basis of the finished work of Christ; who stood for Sola Scriptura! - that Scripture alone is the ultimate authority; and who was so wonderfully used of the Lord to bring about the greatest Biblical Reformation and birth of freedom that the world had ever known, could be the target of such vicious slander.

Do Not Slander
The Scriptures implore us: "Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the Law and judges it." James 4:11

Malice and a Contentious Spirit
There is a disturbing tendency throughout the church, seen regularly in homes where they have "roast pastor for Sunday lunch", to set ourselves up continually as judges of those who are better than us. Many have the gift of criticism and a ministry of discouragement. Few recognise how seriously their casual criticism, of what are often trivial matters, erodes and undermines the ministries of those called of God to service.

Malice and Deceit
"Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander of every kind." 1 Peter 2:1. As the Scripture so plainly shows us, slander of every kind is inseparable from malice, deceit, hypocrisy and envy. (The middle letter of pride is "I", the middle letter of lie is "I", the middle letter of sin is "I", so too the middle letter of Lucifer is "I".) Self-centred pride is often at the root of our desire to slander great men and women of the past and to drag down others whom God has raised up.

Envy of Edwards
Jonathan Edwards, one of America's greatest Theologians and a man most closely associated with the Great Evangelical Awakening, was actually dismissed by his own church for applying Biblical discipline. The elders of his church would not accept his position that unbelievers should not be allowed to participate in The Lord's Supper. In his farewell message, Edwards declared: "…avoid contention. A contentious people will be a miserable people… heat of spirit, evil speaking and things of the like… directly contrary to the spirit of Christianity… watch against a contentious spirit…"

Condemning Carey
The father of modern missions, William Carey and his co-worker, John Marshman, had to endure vicious and unjust criticisms from young new missionaries who came "to help" at the mission base in Serampore, India. Many of these new volunteers actually split from the Serampore mission and spent an inordinate amount of time slandering William Carey and his co-workers (the controversy lasted thirteen years). So much so that the Baptist Missionary Society in England actually turned against William Carey for a time.

Senseless Outcry
Writing of this, Carey said: "the evil they have done is, I fear, irreparable; and certainly the whole might have been prevented by a little frank conversation with either of us; and a hundredth part of that self- denial which I found necessary to exercise for the first few years of the mission would have prevented this awful rupture… but now we are traduced and the church rent by the very men who came to be our helpers… judge for yourselves whether it is comely that a man who has laboriously and disinterestedly served the mission so many years should be arraigned and condemned without a hearing by a few men who have just arrived, one of whom had not been a month in the country before he joined the senseless outcry."

Slandering Samuel Marsden
On a recent speaking tour to Australia, a couple of people commented on my including Samuel Marsden in The Greatest Century of Missions. They frankly admitted that they had never before heard anything good about Samuel Marsden, but only that he was a vicious "hanging judge" and "religious hypocrite".

In fact, Samuel Marsden was a pioneer missionary and founding father of Australia and New Zealand. He was a man who upheld justice impartially and who diligently preached the Gospel. Throughout his life he remained a humble and generous Christian who laid the foundations for the Christian Church in Australia and New Zealand. Although he came to Australia as a chaplain to the convict colony of New South Wales, the Governor compelled him to also be the magistrate. Combining both demanding vocations in one person involved Marsden in one controversy after another. Samuel tried his utmost to provide for the prisoners, to establish a school for orphans and to right the wrongs suffered by Aborigines.

His attempts to uphold principles of justice placed his life in danger and he endured many threats to his life. On one occasion, he travelled to England to call the attention of the government to the unacceptable conditions and to secure intervention. He presented these grievances to King George III himself.

Samuel Marsden had a great missionary vision which also extended to bringing the Gospel of Christ to the cannibals of New Zealand. Despite vicious disputes between some of the missionaries answerable to him and relentless criticism, Samuel Marsden conducted the first public worship service in New Zealand, interceded between two warring tribes and introduced education, standards of justice and law and order to the country.

It was his sad experience to continually be a victim of malicious and unfounded charges throughout his time in Australia. His fearless denunciation of sin made him numerous enemies, but the Lord vindicated Samuel Marsden. Within 31 years of his first service in New Zealand, 98% of the Maoris had embraced Christianity.

Harassing Hudson Taylor
In 1865, Hudson Taylor prayed for 24 "willing, skilful labourers" for his new China Inland Mission. Willing and skilful they may have been, but four of these new recruits also brought dissension and controversy. Soon these dissidents had poisoned the fellowship with their increasing bitterness and resentment. After two years of backbiting and disruption, Hudson Taylor had to dismiss the ringleader, Louis Nicole, from the mission. Other troublemakers left with him.

More unrelenting slander and lies undermined the work of the China Inland Mission. One of the accusations against Hudson Taylor was that he was "too familiar with the young ladies." Hudson and Maria Taylor kissed some of the girls on the forehead before they went off to bed. The ladies themselves denied any inappropriate behaviour, but still the complaint reached London and for a time led to a fall in support for the mission.

Successful Missions are Targeted by Frauds and Failures
As Hudson Taylor wrote: "If the Spirit of God works mightily, we may be sure that the spirit of evil will also be active." The China Inland Mission was engulfed in opposition, dissension, controversy, fire and death from the beginning. Their mission house in Yangchow was attacked and set on fire. Furious persecution engulfed them. Storms of criticism and controversy erupted. However, in spite of constant controversies, the number of CIM missionaries grew, in time becoming the largest mission organisation in the world. By the end of Hudson's long life, the very mission organisations that had belittled and ridiculed his methods had begun adopting many of them.

Presumed Guilty
On his Zambezi expedition, pioneer missionary explorer David Livingstone was afflicted by interpersonal conflicts amongst his team leading to everyone abandoning him in the field, even his own brother Charles. By the time he returned to England seven years later, Livingstone found that his disgruntled ex-co-workers had so spread an ill report against him, that no-one even came out to welcome him back. He was ostracised. Presumed guilty without even a chance to defend himself.

From Outcast to Honoured Author of Textbooks
The greatest Baptist preacher of all time, Charles Spurgeon, was actually the target of vicious and slanderous attacks by the Baptist Union of his day. Now his books are textbooks of Baptist colleges and his statue stands outside the Baptist Union headquarters.

From Pariah to Patron
George Whitefield, one of the greatest evangelists of all time and a key figure in the Great Evangelical Awakening, was actually excluded from the Church of England that he had served so faithfully. Today the Church of England in South Africa has named its college after George Whitefield.

A Price of Success
Dr James Kennedy in his book, Delighting God, writes "if you rise just a little bit above the common herd, if you achieve just a modicum more success than your neighbours, most surely those barbs of criticism are going to be shot your way.

"To avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, be nothing." "There is no defence against reproach - except obscurity."

In the Light of Eternity
Delighting God quotes one wise old man "If I tried to read, much less answer all the criticisms made of me and all the attacks levelled against me, this office would have to be closed to all other business. I do the best I know how, the very best I can and I mean to keep on doing this, down to the very end. If the end brings me out all wrong, ten angels swearing I had been right would make no difference. If the end brings me out alright, then what is said against me now will not amount to anything."

An Opportunity to Glorify God
There is no doubt that adversity builds character. A faith that can't be tested, can't be trusted. Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.

An Even Greater Danger
But unjustified criticism is still better than flattery - and less dangerous! We can always benefit - even from the most unbalanced criticism. What man means for evil, God can use for good. (Genesis 50:20)

Redeeming the Time
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Such trials should drive us to prayer, humble us and deepen our devotional life as we search the Scriptures and ask: "What is God saying to me through this?"

It can also enable us to empathise with and comfort others who suffer such injustices.

Christians suffering unjust criticism should find opportunities to glorify God and to witness for Christ. Ultimately, God's opinion and approval is the only One that counts. It is He whom we should continually be seeking to please.

Better to be Slandered than Flattered
One thing that Christ requires is that we forgive those who sin against us - unconditionally, wholeheartedly. We who have been forgiven much should love much. "Blessed are you when men hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and cast out your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy. For indeed your reward is great in Heaven, for in like manner their fathers did to the prophets…Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets." Luke 6:22-26

It’s Not the Critic that Counts
As United States President Theodore Roosevelt wrote:
"It is not the critic that counts
nor the man who points out how the strong man stumbled;
nor where the doer of deeds could have done better.
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena;
whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood;
who strives valiantly;
who errs and comes short again and again;
who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions
and spends himself in a worthy cause;
who at best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and;
who at worst, if he fails, at least fails while doing greatly,
so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls
who know neither victory nor defeat!"

A Test of Character
Everything in life is a test of character. Extreme situations expose and bring out the best, or the worst, in people. A person's character is accurately measured by their reaction to unfairness or bad treatment. The measure of a person's character can be seen by the size of those things which upset him. The true flavour of a tea bag is only tasted after it has been placed in hot water and so it is with ourselves. Our reputation is what men think we are. Our character is what God knows we are. This is only revealed under extreme crisis situations.

So, when troubles and tribulations come, when you are insulted, excluded, reviled and mistreated, do what our Lord Jesus commanded; "rejoice in that day and leap for joy!" Luke 6:26

On the other hand; "Woe to you when all men speak well of you…"

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1

Civil Authority is Delegated, Limited and Accountable
To the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, our Lord Jesus Christ declared: “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above.” John 19:11. Clearly, all authority is delegated by God and all authority is answerable to God. Authority is limited, delegated and accountable to God.

Ministry of Justice
The Bible is very clear that God has instituted civil government as “an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrong-doer.” Romans 13:4. Civil governments are called to a minister of God’s Justice: “to punish those who do wrong.” 1 Peter 2:14

To Protect and to Serve
The Bible makes it clear that the primary duties and responsibilities of any civil authority are the protection of law-abiding citizens and the punishment of law-breaking criminals. Psalm 101, reminds us that the duty of God-honouring rulers is to destroy the wicked, to root out evil and to protect the law-abiding.

Render Unto Caesar the Things That Are Caesars
Our Lord Jesus Christ taught that we are to: “render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesars and to God the things that are God’s.” Luke 20:25. To illustrate this, our Lord held up a coin and asked: “Whose image and inscription does it have?” They answered and said: “Caesars” Luke 20:24. We are to render to Caesar the things that belong to Caesar (such as taxes).

And To God the Things That Are God’s
By way of contrast, anything having the image of God (e.g. children) do not belong to the state. Children are not made in the image of Caesar, but in the image of God. We are to render to Caesar the things that belong to Caesar. Not everything that Caesar demands. Caesar receives the coin. Everything else belongs to God.

The Sanctity of Life
The sanctity of life is the foundation for the establishment of all government. For this reason, God commanded that: “Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God, He made man.” Genesis 9:6

Respect for Life
The priority of any government is to protect the right to life of preborn babies and every other law-abiding member of society. Because those made in the image of God have inherent value, God has declared that anyone who takes the life of an innocent human being is to be executed. Murderers forfeit their lives by showing contempt for the lives of others (Exodus 21:12-16; Leviticus 24:17-22; Numbers 35:33; Romans 13:4; 1 Peter 2:14).

The Creation Mandate
The Creation Mandate clearly includes the right to life, to liberty and to private ownership of property. “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28

Decentralisation to Restrain the Depravity of Man
Because of the depravity of man, God requires a decentralised state with most responsibilities and powers resting on local government, the family and the individual (Exodus 24:1; Deuteronomy 1:13-17; Acts 17:26).

Centralisation of Power is a Pagan Tendency
Centralisation of power in a unitary state has always been a pagan tendency, as seen in Nineveh, Egypt and Babel (Genesis 10:11; 11:1).

Checks and Balances
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It is necessary to limit and divide the powers of government in a system of checks and balances. Biblically, governments need to be separated into Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of government (Isaiah 9:6-7; Isaiah 33:22).

The Four Spheres of Government
God has instituted four spheres of government:

Self-government – symbolised by our conscience (Proverbs 16:32; 1 Timothy 3:4-5; 2 Peter 1:6);
Family government – symbolised by the rod of discipline (Deuteronomy 6:1-7; Ephesians 6:1-4; 1 Timothy 3:4-5);
Church government – symbolised by the keys of church discipline (Acts 6:1-6; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9);
Civil government – symbolised by the Sword of Justice (Genesis 9:5-7; Romans 13:1-4; 1 Peter 2:13-14).

“… where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17

Civil Servants Are to Serve
In the teachings of our Lord, it is clear that civil authorities are to be public servants (Matthew 20:25-28); “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves.” Luke 22:25-26

Government Is to Serve its Citizens
It is for this reason that officials in civil government are called: “ministers,” or servants/deacons of God (Romans 13:3-4; 1 Peter 2:13-14). The concept that civil government is a servant of its citizens is uniquely a Christian idea that originated from these verses, hence the term “Prime Minister” – as the First Servant.

Lex Rex
In the landmark book, Lex Rex (or The Law and the Prince), written by Samuel Rutherford (published in 1644), the Reformation principle is expounded that to be valid, all law needs to be rooted and grounded in God’s Law. For centuries, the prevailing philosophy had been Rex Lex, the Latin phrase meaning that the King is the law. The Reformers reversed this Latin Phrase to Lex Rex. The Law is King! The King is under the law. All civil authority is delegated by God and is limited and answerable to God. Obedience to tyrants and unjust laws is rebellion against God.

In Defence of Liberty Against Tyrants
Similarly, the Huguenot book: Vindiciae Contra Tyrannos (In Defence of Liberty Against Tyrants), makes the point that as citizens owe allegiance to their king, the king owes allegiance to the King of kings. If the king is in rebellion to the King of kings, we may not join in that king’s rebellion. We have a higher allegiance. Scottish Reformer, John Knox, declared “Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God!”

Refusal to Obey Wicked Decrees is Commended by God
Hence, when pharaoh of Egypt ordered the midwives to kill newborn Hebrew boys, “the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive.” Exodus 1:17. This act of disobedience to the wicked command of Pharaoh is commended in the Hall of Faith. “By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.” Hebrews 11:23

When Authorities Attempt to Limit the Fulfilment of the Great Commission
We read that the Sanhedrin commanded the Apostles: “…not to speak at all nor teach in the Name of Jesus.” Acts 4:18. “But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:19-20

Prayer for Boldness, to Disobey the Sanhedrin, Blessed by God
Despite further threats, the disciples of Jesus prayed for the boldness to disobey the Sanhedrin. “Now, Lord, look on their threats and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your Word… And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the Word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:29, 31

We Must Obey God Rather Than Man
When the Apostle Peter was arrested and brought again before the Sanhedrin, the High Priest demanded: “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us! But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: ‘We ought to obey God rather than men.’” Acts 5:28-29

Only God is All Knowing, All Wise and Infallible
Government is not God. They are not our Lord and Saviour! They are not all-knowing. Nor are governments all wise. Governments are not infallible. Only God, our Creator and Eternal Judge is all-knowing, all-wise, everywhere present and infallible. God’s Law is real Law. All man-made laws must be grounded in God’s Law and must flow from the principles of the Law of God. Any Law not consistent with God’s Law is no law at all. It is invalid. “To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20.

Truth Does Not Fear Investigation
“And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free… Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:32, 36

Lockdown Lunacy Economic Suicide
The Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020 have been unjustified by scientific research. Covid-19 has not proven to be anything near as deadly as the Bubonic plague, nor as devastating as the Spanish Flu. There is no proven medical justification for locking down over 3 billion people and committing what amounted to economic suicide. Although the term “suicide” suggests a voluntary act, economic murder would be more accurate. The jobs of tens of millions of people worldwide have been undermined and destroyed. Big Tech, Big Pharma and Big Government have united to crush family businesses and the small entrepreneurs. The Covid-19 Lockdowns have proven to be a cover for colossal corruption and for communist centralisation and control. “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’” Galatians 5:13-14

The Committee for Public Safety
The French Revolution was government by a committee. The so-called “Committee for Public Safety” under the chairmanship of Maximillian Robespierre, chose who to guillotine. Over 40,000 Frenchmen lost their heads to the guillotine by order of the Committee for Public Safety. A further 300,000 were killed by firing squads and millions more died in the ruinous 25-years of Revolutionary wars that flowed from the French Revolution.

Government by Committee
The word Soviet means Committee. As in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Hence, when the South African ANC government chose to sidelined parliament and replace it with a committee of 6 who they assured us “consult their ancestors”! It was an ominous sign. Not only has parliament been sidelined, but the Bill of Rights has been effectively suspended by martial law-type lockdowns and curfews.

Unconstitutional
No law is valid if it violates the Bill of Rights. Yet, the extraordinary Covid-19 state of emergency/disaster has violated the essential freedoms of religion, belief and opinion; freedom of conscience; freedom of thought; freedom of expression; freedom of the press; freedom of association; freedom of assembly and freedom to demonstration; freedom of movement and freedom of trade, occupation, trade and profession. The lockdown was clearly unconstitutional. No politicians have the right to declare people’s livelihoods “non-essential!”

Suffocating Society
The lockdown has also seriously curtailed the “freedom for cultural, religious and linguistic communities to gather and practise their religion in free association with others.”

Unnecessary and Counter Productive
The lockdown also violated principles of the rule of law by presumption of guilt. If masks work, why were lockdowns necessary? If lockdowns work, why are masks necessary? Why wear masks when on your own in your home, or car? Why do people walking alone outdoors need to wear a mask? Is there any medical science justifying such extraordinary and unprecedented requirements?

The Covid Cult
We are facing a Covid cult with dogmatic demands to accept and comply, to submit and not question. Anyone questioning the masquerade is subject to shunning and inquisition-like persecution.

Covid-1984
No wonder many are referring to it as Covid-1984. George Orwell’s prophetic warning political satire 1984, seems ominously relevant today. Where the Ministry of Truth deals with lies, the Ministry of Plenty deals with starvation and rationing, the Ministry of Love deals with torture and the Ministry of Peace deals with war. The media communicate in newspeak and double-think and any one questioning the official party line are guilty of a Thought crime and forced by Thought Police. Those questioning the politically correct narrative can become unpersons, vapourised and disappear down the memory hole.

Blatant Hypocrisy
The hypocrisy, double-standards and inconsistency of those advocating social distancing could be seen in the bizarre leftist justification of BLM-ANTIFA/EFF riots by the same people who condemned anti-lockdown protests as “threats” to “spreading the virus”!

Unprecedented
Ignoring real crime and real threats, governments have poured unprecedented amount of resources and energy into enforcing mindless requirements for even children at school to wear masks all the time and locking down even churches over Easter. To this day, many congregations are not able to gather as government regulations have prevented any churches meeting in a school, scout or guide hall. Right of assembly has been suspended.

Disproportionate
When restaurant and hospitality industry workers peacefully protested in Cape Town, they were meet with unprecedented violence by police, who had stood by doing nothing while mobs looted, burned and ransacked. However peaceful restauranteurs and hospitality workers were water cannoned, had stun grenades thrown at them and tear gas used to disperse their orderly march. “And that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.” 2 Timothy 2:26

Masks Dehumanise
Masks dehumanise. This is the reason why people placed in front of firing squads traditionally have been made to wear a mask. This is not because of any concern for the person about to be shot, it is because it makes the task of the firing squad easier when the victim is dehumanised by having their face obscured. It has long been recognised that forcing Muslim women in the Middle East to wear a veil is dehumanising.

Anonymity Encourages Irresponsibility and Unaccountability
France forbade women to wear masks/veils in public for multiple reasons, including not to obscure one’s identity, responsibility for actions, or accountability for behaviour. Facial recognition, much like number plates on cars and trucks are essential in a law-abiding society. Interestingly enough, South African law concerning protests passed in 1996, forbids the wearing of masks at any protest. This is so that people’s identity can be determined in the event of any irresponsible action to be able to call each person to account for what they have done. Crime seeks anonymity.

Unmask the Masquerade
There is a need for courage, integrity and steadfastness. The Cultural Mandate of Genesis 1:28 and the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20, are being stifled and suffocated by lockdown regulations. We need to unmask the truth behind the masquerade.

Where the Battle Rages Loyalty is Proved
As professor Martin Luther so eloquently described: “If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the Word of God except precisely that point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Him. Where the battle rages there the loyalty of the soldier is proved; and to be steady on all the battle front besides, is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point.”

No Government Has the Right to Interfere in the Cultural Mandate or the Great Commission
Civil authorities have greatly over reached themselves and exceeded their authority when they infringed on the essential activities of employers and employees, economic or agricultural enterprises, or the fulfilment of the Creation Mandate and the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the light of the extraordinary campaign against Christianity on the University of Stellenbosch campus, many are asking if we are merely dealing with isolated incidences of anti-Christian bias and prejudice, or whether there is actually an agenda to hijack universities, infiltrate the news media, break down Christian standards of morality, discredit the family as an institution and undermine Christianity.

Cleon Skousen published the book "The Naked Communist" in 1962. On 10 January 1963, the official communist goals, as published and exposed by this book, were read into the Congressional Record. These are a few selected items from the published communist agenda:

Gain control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism. …get control of Teachers Associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
Gain control of all student newspapers.
Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy making positions.
Gain control of key positions in radio, T.V. and motion pictures.
Continue discrediting culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. …eliminate all good sculpture from park and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.
Control art critics and directors of Art Museums. Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsiveness and meaningless art.
Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them censorship and a violation of free speech and free press.
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and T.V.
Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as normal, natural and healthy.
Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion. Discredit the Bible.
Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioural problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand, or treat.
Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose communist goals.
Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
Emphasise the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to the suppressive influence of parents.

Those are just a selection from the Communist Agenda as published in "The Naked Communist" 50 years ago.

20 years ago, I listed the Humanist Agenda in South Africa as follows:

Man is a product of evolutionary chance and this theory must be taught as a fact of science in schools and in the media.
Education should be controlled by the State.
Education should be secular – free of moral absolutes and non-Christian.
Sex Education in schools should be compulsory.
Pornography should be allowed as 'free speech'.
Abortion is 'a woman's right'.
Homosexuality is an acceptable 'alternative lifestyle'.
Criminals are 'victims of society' requiring treatment and rehabilitation.
The right of citizens to obtain, own, and use firearms for self-defence must be limited and eventually eliminated.
All power and authority must gradually and progressively be centralised in big government.

Agenda – Grinding America Down
If you have not had the opportunity to see Agenda: Grinding America Down, you need to. Dr. Ted Baehr of Movieguide reviews the film in these words: "Agenda: Grinding America Down is the most powerful expose of the communist, socialist, progressive attempt to take over America produced so far. Clear and Present Danger
In the early years of our Mission, the primary threats which concerned us were landmines, anti-personnel, anti-vehicle mines, the trip wire pomz, stake-mounted anti-personnel fragmentation mines, the jumping jack and a host of other Improvised Explosive Devices. In some areas the threat of ambushes, aerial bombardments and artillery barrages became our most pressing concerns.

Daily Threats
Today, while those continue to be concerns in some fields, a general lawlessness and increasingly violent crime, particularly in ANC-run South Africa, is an ever-present threat. We need to practise heightened situational awareness and be able to respond in a second to deadly threats on a daily basis.

Cyber War on Missions
However, increasingly, electronic cyber war is a clear and present danger. At 2010, the 3rd Lausanne Congress on World Evangelisation, with over 4,000 participants from 197 countries, Red China unleased cyber war. The largest Missions conference in history was targeted by the most massive, malicious cyber attack ever seen. The sophisticated computer network developed for live broadcasting to the world was targeted by millions of malicious external hits coming from multiple locations in Asia. There was no doubt that the co-ordinated cyber war against Cape Town 2010, originated from Red China. The communist government of China prevented hundreds of Christian leaders in their country from attending the Missions conference in Cape Town. Chinese Christian leaders had their passports confiscated, many were detained, many were subjected to intensive interrogation. It was striking that the dictatorship of communist China would see a Missions congress in Cape Town as a serious enough threat to unleash cyber war upon it in an attempt to collapse its satellite broadcasting.

Trojan Horse Cyber War
In recent weeks, our Mission has been subjected to cyber war. In just a 24-hour period, my computer received over 10,000 spam emails, including many viruses and trojan horses. We praise God for a dedicated IT team, particularly Roelf, who worked long and hard, to detect, counter, root out and repair the damage done.

Biological, Digital and Spiritual Viruses
It is a timely reminder that we are involved in a spiritual world war and there are multiple threats that we need to be alert to, not only physical viruses made in biological warfare laboratories and terrorist landmines (the devils seed) designed to kill or cripple, but also spiritual diseases, which threaten our mind and soul. The ANTIFA and BLM urban terrorism throwing rocks, Molotov cocktail petrol bombs, vandalising, burning and looting are plainly under the influence of the Mind Virus of communism.

Mind Viruses and Sin
There are a number of lessons one can learn from these cyber war trojan horses and viruses. These viruses are like sin. They may be small and mostly undetected, but they can cause massive damage. Sin binds, sin blinds, sin grinds. We see that in the life of Samson in the Book of Judges. Sin will take you further than you want to go. It will cost you more than you are willing to pay. It will keep you longer than you want to stay. When these viruses find an opening, perhaps by us opening up an attachment from a questionable source, they go out and bring many other viruses and Trojan horses with them. Like demons bringing more demons to those they find open to their destructive activity.

Beware of Opening Attachments from Questionable Sources
If you have received something questionable from our Mission, particularly something requiring an attachment to be opened, please delete it. We would always place our message in the text. We would never just send an email saying nothing more than “open up this attachment.” That should alert one to double check the email address from which the attachment came.

Put on the Whole Armour of God
Just as all of our computers need to protected with anti-virus and malware software, we need to be even more alert to spiritual diseases and mind viruses. We need to renew our minds, have our minds transformed by the washing of the Word (Romans 12:1-2). Submit to God, resist the devil the and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Greater is He who is in us than him who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

May God continue to be your strength and shield

"Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore the wrath of the Lord is upon you." 2 Chronicles 19:2

New World Order
The first attempt to establish a New World Order was by the people who came to the land of Shinar (present day Iraq) and built the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:2-4). Others have tried since. Revelation 13 describes a beast with many heads and horns. The dragon gave the beast power, a throne and great authority. The beast mouthed blasphemies against God, blaspheming His Name, His Tabernacle and those who dwell in Heaven. The beast made war with the saints and gained authority over "every tribe, tongue and nation."

"All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Revelation 13:8

Global Deception
The beast will kill and capture the people of God. There will also be another beast, with a religious function who will also have worldwide authority and "causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast… he deceived those who dwell on the earth…" Revelation 13:11-14. This Scripture makes clear that this devilish power will work to bring about a One World government, a One World religion and a One World economic system. Those who refuse to follow this One World religion will be persecuted and killed (Revelation 13:15).

"He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their foreheads and that no one may buy or sell, except one who the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: his number is 666." Revelation 13:16-18

Throughout the years there have been many interpretations and applications of these verses. The important thing is for us to see the big picture. The Word of God is warning us of a devilish system that will seek to impose a One World government, a One World religion and a One World economic system. It will be further identified by its blasphemies and hostility towards God and His Name. As well as by its hostility towards believers of the past, those who are in Heaven now.

Marks of the Beast
We can certainly see that the world is dominated today by many forces working towards a One World government, a One World interfaith religious system and a unified economic system. Hollywood is spewing out a vast amount of blasphemies in a great variety of films. There is also an abundance of films which seek to rearrange reality and rewrite history, by slandering great Christians of the past.

Sinister Forces
The United Nations is the most visible attempt to create a One World government. Behind it one can discern the manipulations of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Freemasons, the Bilderbergers, the Rothschilds and the Illuminati. Working parallel to the United Nations one can see the World Council of Churches working for a One World religion. The interfaith movement is being promoted aggressively by non-governmental organisations, charity foundations, prominent politicians worldwide and by the WCC.

"Do not be deceived: evil company corrupts good character." 1 Corinthians 15:33

Idolatry Command
When the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, attempted to achieve world domination and impose an idolatrous religion on all his subjects, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego stood firm. On the plain of Dura, a massive statue of gold, 90 feet high, was set up and it was commanded that all peoples, nations and languages fall down and worship the golden image set up by Nebuchadnezzar. "And whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast immediately into the midsts of a burning, fiery furnace."

So, we read that: "When all the people heard the sound of the horn, flute, harp and lyre, in symphony with all kinds of music, all the people, nations and languages fell down and worshipped the gold image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up." Daniel 3:7

But Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego stood up straight and would not prostrate themselves before this idol. "Then Nebuchadnezzar, in rage and fury, gave the command to bring Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego… 'is it true… that you do not serve my gods, or worship the gold image which I have set up? ...If you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace and whom is the God who will deliver you from my hand?'" Daniel 3:13-15

We Will Not Bow
The answer of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego was simple and straightforward: "Our God, whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up!" Daniel 3:17-18

The three courageous young men were bound hand and foot and cast into the midst of the fiery furnace. The men who cast them into the flames were incinerated by the intensity of the blaze. Yet, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego walked unharmed in the midst of the flames and Nebuchadnezzar saw a fourth person with them "like the Son of God!" Daniel 3:21-25

The king ordered them out: "'Servants of the most High God, come out and come here!' And the satraps, administrators, governors and the king's counsellors gathered together and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed, nor were their garments affected and the smell of fire was not on them. Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying: 'Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who sent His angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him and they have frustrated the king's word and yielded their bodies that they should not serve, nor worship, any god except their own God… there is no other God who can deliver like this!'" Daniel 3:26-29

Roman Edict
Throughout history there have been others who have attempted to impose their political and religious rule on the world. Caesar Nero of Rome commanded everyone in the empire to worship him. They were to place the ashes of the incense they had burned before his image on their forehead before they were allowed to trade in the market places.

Muhammad's Rule
Muhammad, the founder of Islam attempted to impose his religious and political system on all. Men were not permitted to trade in the market place until they had bowed to Mecca. Many would leave some dust on their forehead to indicate that they had performed their Muslim duty. The Hadith records an incident where Muhammad challenged an old man whether he had bowed in prayer that day. The man bent down picked up some dust and rubbed it on his forehead, by way of a joke, mimicking the practise of so many others in Arabia at that time. Yet the Hadith records that Muhammad did not appreciate his sense of humour and ordered this man to be executed.

Revolution
During the French Revolution there was an attempt to impose a blasphemous secular humanist religion on all. The Soviet Union also attempted to eradicate all expressions of Christianity. Over 48,000 churches were confiscated, demolished, or destroyed, under the dictatorship of Lenin and Stalin. Tens-of-millions of Christians were slaughtered in the territories controlled by the Soviet Union to consolidate political control and enforce religious conformity to the will of the state.

Satanic Strategy
All of these are examples of how satan works. From Babel to Babylon, from Rome to the French Revolution and from the Soviet Union to Red China, those who seek to impose a One World government and a One World religion, also seek to control the economy and they pour out blasphemies against God and His people, persecuting those who refuse to bow to their political and religious will. They make war on the saints and attempt to stamp their mark on all that they have power over.

The Mark
Many people have focussed on how the mark would be placed on the right hand, or on the forehead, perhaps by a tattoo, or more recently, as the technology has become available, by a microchip. These methods may be possible, but the emphasis in the Scripture is on our way of thinking and our actions. We are commanded in the Word of God to bind His Law on our hands and on our foreheads. This surely is speaking about having our way of thinking governed by the Word of God and having our actions governed by the Word of God (Deuteronomy 6:5-8). Many people have the mark of the beast on them, without any tattoo or microchip. When one allows one's way of thinking to be conformed to the world and one's actions to be in conformity to what satan wants, then we have the mark.

"You shall not follow a crowd to do evil." Exodus 23:2

Resisting Indoctrination
During a Mission to Albania, I encountered an example of how resilient believers resisted the beast. When I was working in Durres, each day I would walk down the hill, past the coliseum where Titus was martyred. A kind Albanian man would greet me each day with an ice-cream. One day I asked him why he was giving me an ice-cream. He said: "You are from South Africa; you have a very good country!"

The next day I asked him why he thought that South Africans had a great country and he said: "Because our newspapers were filled with articles attacking you year after year." I was a little puzzled, so he explained: "The communists controlled the media in Albania. We were a one-party dictatorship. So, we knew whatever the media said were lies. So, if the communist hated you, God must have a great plan for your land!"

I was impressed at his refusal to be brainwashed by propaganda. Whatever the state media told him, he took a 180º position from it and found that to be a very accurate rule of thumb. The truth is the exact opposite of what the communist controlled media said it was!

We Are Christians!
One day I asked this man how he came to make ice-cream? The man became very animated. He explained: "My father made the best ice-cream in Albania! When the communists took over this country, he called my brothers and I together. He explained: 'This communist scum is going to destroy this country. We must dismantle our machinery and bury it before they come and confiscate it. But before we do, I want you to learn again how to assemble this later when the communists are overthrown.' Then he told us with great intensity: 'Sons, never forget: We are Christians! We are capitalists! We hate communism! And we make the best ice-cream in Albania!'" Here this man was, over 45 years later, honouring his father as a Christian capitalist making the best ice-cream in Albania!

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the Law of the Lord and in his Law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in season, whose leaf also shall not wither and whatever he does shall prosper." Psalm 1:1-3

Confronting Compromise and Cowardice
When the communists took over Romania they bullied and intimidated the church leaders to line up and come onto the platform to endorse communism. One after the other, ministers stood up to proclaim that communism was actually Christianity in practise and all Christians should support the Communist Party of Romania.

A young Lutheran minister, Richard Wurmbrand, walked up to the podium and quoted this passage of Scripture from 2 Corinthians 6:14-18: "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? What part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the Temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the Living God. As God has said, 'I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God and they shall be My people. Therefore come out from among them and be separate', says the Lord, 'Do not touch what is unclean and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you and you shall be My sons and daughters', says the Lord Almighty."

Richard Wurmbrand reported that he ended up in jail very quickly after that. Then he added, all the other ministers who had compromised and lied and twisted the Scriptures in order to please their communist masters ended up in the same prison cells, just a little bit later. However, Richard Wurmbrand observed, the difference was that he was there with a clear conscience. Their consciences were tortured by their cowardice and compromise.

"Therefore do not be partakers with them." Ephesians 5:7

Resistance
To resist the New World Order, we need to fear God, refuse to be conformed to the world and have our minds renewed daily by the Word of God. We need to devote our lives to obeying the Cultural Mandate and the Great Commission. As the Apostle Peter declared: "We must obey God rather than men!" (Acts 5:29).

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Psalm 111:10

Daniel's Vision
Daniel had a vision of all the kingdoms of the world: the head of gold, the chest of silver, the stomach of bronze, the legs of iron and the feet of iron and clay. "And in the days of these kings the God of Heaven will set up a Kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the Kingdom shall not be left to another people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and shall stand forever." Daniel 2:44

Daniel described a stone that smashed into pieces the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold and how that stone would grow to become a mountain that would fill the whole earth. The Kingdom of God will destroy and replace all these human attempts to create a New World Order. Those who promote a One World religion and a One World government are doomed to defeat and disgrace. Those who faithfully serve the King of kings and the Lord of lords will be vindicated.

"But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain." 1 Corinthians15:57-58

We are living in a world war of worldviews. The Bible warns us: “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of the world rather than on Christ.” Colossians 2:8

Everyone is influenced by a worldview. Whether consciously or unconsciously, whether consistently or inconsistently, everyone is influenced by a worldview, their set of presuppositions and assumptions (which may be true, partially true or false).

Our worldview consists of those sets of beliefs and presuppositions, which we hold about basic realities of our world. Our worldview determines our values, influences how we think and therefore guides how we live.

THE BASIC QUESTIONS OF LIFE
Our worldview needs to answer the basic questions of life:

What is reality? (Materialism maintains that there is no reality beyond the physical.)
What is our basis of knowledge? (Rationalism seeks to discover the structure of reality guided by human reason alone. Empiricism declares that reason alone is not sufficient, all our knowledge must be based upon information provided by our senses.)
How can we know what is right or wrong? (Existentialism evaluates everything from subjective personal experience. Agnosticism maintains that it is impossible to settle the primary questions in life because of the limitations of human knowledge.)
What is man? (The Evolutionist maintains that we are matter in motion, evolved slime, monkeys who mutated, from goo to the zoo to you. From mud to monkeys to man. A cosmic accident. The result of random chance.)
What happens to a person after death? (According to Hinduism we are reincarnated in a kind of cosmic recycling of souls, either moving up the ladder to become holy cows, or sliding down, because of bad karma, to possibly become insects.)
What is the meaning of history? (Marxism maintains that history is driven by economic determinism. The post-modernist maintains that there is absolutely no meaning to history.)
Why is there suffering and evil? (The Polytheist, who believes in many gods, maintains that it is because of conflict between the various gods.)
What is the purpose for our existence? (The Hedonist maintains that we should live for our own personal pleasure. The materialist proclaims that “he who dies with the most toys wins!” Humanism ultimately destroys all purpose for one’s existence. You came from nothing, you are going nowhere, life is meaningless.)
How should we live? (The Muslim claims that we should live in obedience to Sharia law – based upon the Quran and the Hadith – the teachings and practices of Muhammad.)

THE BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

The Bible makes clear that God is ultimate reality. “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” John 1:1
Our basis for knowledge is God’s Revelation. “In the past God spoke…through the prophets…but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son…” Hebrews 1:1-2
We can know what is right and what is wrong from the Word of God. “All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16
Man was created by God but human nature is sinful. Because we have been created by God there is some good even in the worst of us. However, because we are fallen, there is bad even in the best of us. “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works…” Ephesians 2:10
After death, each one of us shall face eternal judgment and either enjoy God’s gracious rewards in Heaven or endure just punishment in hell. “Man is destined to die once and after that to face judgment.” Hebrews 9:27
History is His story. God is sovereign over history. “The most high is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and He gives them to anyone He wishes.” Daniel 4:25
Suffering and evil are a result of man’s rebellion against God since the Fall. “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” Galatians 6:7
The purpose of our existence is to glorify God and to worship Him forever. “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
We should therefore live in obedience to the Bible. “The Lord your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and Laws, carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deuteronomy 26:16

UNDERSTANDING HUMANISM
By way of contrast, Humanism is a religion that deifies man – and dethrones God. Francis Schaefer defined Humanism as: “The placing of man at the centre of all things and making him the measure of all things.”

Alexander Solzhenitsyn describes Humanism as: “The proclaimed and practiced autonomy of man from any higher force above him.”

The theology of Humanism is atheism – the belief that there is no God.
The biology of Humanism is evolution. Man is a product of evolutionary chance.
The ethics of Humanism is amorality, or relativism. There are no moral absolutes.
The psychology of Humanism is self-actualisation or existentialism. Everything revolves around “self.”
The sociology of Humanism is a classless world society – the abolition of the traditional family.
The economics of Humanism is socialism – the redistribution of wealth through government interference.
The politics of Humanism is globalism – a one-world government.

One can recognise the Humanist agenda in many films, articles and books:

Man is a product of evolutionary chance and this theory must be taught as a fact of science in schools.
Education must be controlled by the state.
Education must be secular, free of moral absolutes and non-Christian.
Sex education must be compulsory in the schools.
Pornography should be allowed as ‘free speech’.
Abortion is a woman’s right.
Homosexuality is an acceptable ‘alternative lifestyle’.
Criminals are ‘victims of society’ requiring treatment and rehabilitation. Rather than punish criminals, it is society as a whole that should be punished.
The right of citizens to obtain, own and use firearms for self-defence must be limited and eventually eliminated.
All power and authority must be gradually and progressively centralized in big government.

The results of Humanism are written all over the pages of recent history: the revolutions, the massacres and totalitarianism of the Communist East; the permissiveness and decadence of the democratic West; the pornography plague, the drug epidemic, the crime explosion, the escalating inflation, the abortion holocaust and the AIDS and STDs pandemics, these are just some of the inevitable results of the moral anarchy of Humanism.

“Why do the nations rage and the people plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against His anointed One: Let us break their chains, they say and throw off their fetters. The One enthroned in Heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. Then He rebukes them in His anger and terrifies them in His wrath saying: I have installed My King on Zion, My holy hill…Therefore you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear…” Psalm 2:1-11

UNDERSTANDING ANIMISM
Animism is spirit worship. It has been heavily promoted by some Hollywood films such as Pocahontas and Brother Bear. Animism is the primary religion of millions of tribal people scattered throughout Africa, New Guinea, the Pacific Islands, North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, India and Japan. Elements of basic Animism are also adhered to by many nominal Muslims, Buddhists and “Christians”.

Animism involves Necrolatry, the worship of the souls of the dead. Tribal people tend to regard the departed ancestors as part of the clan and fear the harm that the departed can do to the living. They especially fear that those who died unnaturally will come back to haunt them. Animism involves spirit worship, believing in the existence of personal spirits or demons, as well as impersonal spiritual forces in nature, which inhabit the earth, the air, fire, water, trees, mountains and animal life. Life for the Animist is dominated by a host of taboos and rituals to placate the spirits.

Animism involves naturism, the personification and worship of the forces of nature. For example the worship of the sun in Ancient Egypt, the sacred cow of the Hindus in India and the sacred mountain of Shintoism in Japan. Naturism normally involves polytheism (the worship of many gods) and idolatry. In nature worship, rituals and sacrifices are intended to guarantee fertility. Human sacrifices are an extreme example of this.

Animism involves totemism, (“Brother – Sister – Kin”) emphasizing the unity of the clan with some sacred plant or animal.

Animism involves fetishism (the superstitious belief that there is some spiritual energy or force in charms, amulets or fetishes). Normally witchdoctors are involved as Shamans, “expert mediators” who know the proper incantations and sacrifices at times of sickness and disasters to placate “the spirits.” The witch doctors use imitative magic to bring harm to an enemy by attacking a representation of him (such as a voodoo doll!) or contagious magic which utilizes some hair clipping, nail paring, sweat, spit, or faeces to bring a curse on an individual. The blood of an animal (or a person) may be drunk in order to gain the strength of that animal or (in the case of cannibalism) person.

Animism is characterized by the absence of real love and hope. There are no moral absolutes (sin is seen as the violation of culture, custom and spirit forces rather than any personal ethical transgression). The whole of life is pervaded with and governed by, fear. Animism is pervaded by fatalism and a sense of helplessness in the face of external forces.

Heathenism does not deny God as much as ignore Him by worshipping natural forces and mysterious demon powers through magical ceremonies and sacrifices.

“When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorceror, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God. For these nations which you will dispossess listen to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not appointed such for you.” Deuteronomy 18:10-14

EVALUATING ANYONE’S WORLDVIEW
To evaluate anyone’s worldview, we need to ask the following general questions about any film producer, scriptwriter, director, author, journalist or anyone else:

What are his fundamental beliefs about life?
What is he using to interpret the facts?
What are the practical implications of his worldview?
How consistent is his worldview?
What implications would it have for me personally?
What would it mean for the world in general?

We can also ask certain specific questions:

Intellectually – What does he believe is true about himself and his place in history?
Physically – How does he treat, or mistreat, his body?
Socially – How does he interact with friends and enemies, the rich and poor, the strong and the weak?
Economically – What is his motivation in work and how does he spend his money?
Ethically – What moral guidelines and obligations direct his thinking about justice and righteousness?

WHY WE THINK AS WE DO

Heredity – The genetic makeup received from our parents.
Culture – The system of moral and aesthetic values in the society in which we live.
Family – Upbringing, events and relationships.
National – The political developments and crisis situations that effect each one of us.
Education – At home and at school.
Entertainment – The music we listen to, the films we watch, the books we read and the things we do.
Relationships – Our Friendships, the people with whom we work, neighbours and marriage partner.
Personal choices – Or the lack of them.
Revelation – God’s act of grace in communicating to us through His Word and in His works.

RECOGNISING HUMANISM IN THE MEDIA AND IN TEXTBOOKS

Agnosticism – maintains that it is impossible to settle the primary questions of life because of the limitations of human knowledge.
Atheism – the denial of the existence of God.
Egalitarianism – the belief that total equality must exist for everyone in every area of life: political, social, cultural and economic. All opinions, talents and wealth must become equal, not merely in opportunity, but in result.
Existentialism – an introspective Humanism, an attempt to create a personal identity from a meaningless universe based on the subjective feelings the individual. “Live for the moment!”; “My personal experience – NOW!”
Hedonism – the doctrine that elevates pleasure as the sole end and good in life. Our only duty is fulfilled in the gratification of one’s own personal pleasure. “Decrease the pain; increase the pleasure.”
Materialism – the belief that nothing exists other than matter. Everything else that exists is material and is only the result of the product of time, chance and matter. “A whole lot of time and a whole lot of nothing, made everything.”
Nihilism – the theory that this universe is meaningless and without purpose. Nothing is worth living for.
Pantheism – the belief that God is identical with the universe. God and nature are synonymous. Everything is God and God is everything.
Relativism – the theory that truth is only whatever a particular individual or society decides that it is. There are no objective standards of right and wrong, no universal truths and no absolute code of conduct. All truth is relative. Values clarification and situational ethics are expressions of this.
Utilitarianism – “The end justifies the means.” The belief in Radical individualism and autonomy unguided by virtue. Personal happiness and success are achieved and justified by whatever means are necessary to obtain them. Using circumstances and people is justified. The goal is everything and whatever means are needed to reach it are utilized and justified.

Secular Humanism says: “There is no God to save us; we must save ourselves!”
Post-modernism says: “There is no absolute truth; we must create our own!”
New Age thought says: “There is no God; I am my own god!”

HUMANISM IS SELF DESTRUCTIVE
“At first the temptation is to see mankind as God. Then it becomes us as god. And finally it is me as god. So the progression moves from the worship of man, to the worship of us, to the worship of me. In the end all anthropolators become I – dolaters. ‘I am god!’ Like little anti-Christs that exalt to magnify themselves in the temple of their minds.” – Dr. David Noebel

Evolution is an attempt to retroactively abort God. Evolution destroys all meaning, purpose, direction, justice and hope and life. “You came from nothing, you are going nowhere, life is meaningless.”
Education – Secular Humanism is attempting to kill God by eradicating him from the classroom and from the minds of the next generation. By eliminating the Bible as the basis for all knowledge, Humanists remove the very foundation of truth; they prohibit the only objective standard by which reality can be evaluated.
Ethics – Humanism has rejected the Law of God and is instead vigorously promoting situation ethics, amorality, existentialism, hedonism, pornography, homosexuality, sex education and abortion.
Entertainment – Superficial, sensational and immoral material predominates in the modern entertainment industry. It is producing an increasingly superficial, selfish, mindless and immoral society.
Economics – The unworkable wastage of welfare and socialism destroys incentive, initiative, income and industry.
Exhaustion – Bombarded by brainwashing and over stimulated by images, most people in our society are mentally, spiritually and emotionally exhausted.

Resistance is Respected - Weakness is Despised
There is nothing communists respect more than strength. There is nothing they despise more than weakness. Those people who think that they can calm the situation by bowing to the mob, washing their feet, or brushing, or kissing their boots, not only figuratively, but literally, have no idea that all they are doing is greatly aggravating the situation and encouraging the revolutionaries to demand far, far more.

Never Bow to Bullies
In my experience, it is absolutely essential that one never gives Marxist bullies, or mobs, a millimetre. If you give them an inch, they will take a mile.

First-hand Experience
Being brought up in war-torn Rhodesia, experiencing terrorism and revolution, working in communist Angola and Mozambique, being imprisoned in Zambia and Mozambique and in so many other cases I have seen: the more steadfastly and strongly you stand, the better. The moment Marxists sense weakness, fear, or compromise, they smell blood and will only howl for more and escalate their unreasonable demands.

Meeting with Mandela
When I marched 30,000 people to parliament in Cape Town to oppose president Nelson Mandela’s secular state policies, I was summoned to the president’s mansion. The first words Mandela said to me: “So, Mr Hammond, what were you doing during the Years of Struggle?”

My response: “I was fighting people like you, Sir.” He smiled, laughed, stood up and shook my hand again and said: “I’m so glad to meet an honest white man. All the other whites have told me how they always opposed apartheid and actually supported me. I wondered how the National Party had stayed in power for 44 years, when all the while, whites actually opposed the National Party and supported me!”

My response: “Well, make no mistake Mr President, we were not fighting for apartheid, we were fighting against communism and terrorism.”

The Greatest Evil
His response: “Apartheid was the greatest evil in the history of the world…”

My response: “I cannot agree Mr President. That prize must go to your friends and supporters, the communists. They have littered the 20th century with 160 million corpses, not foreign people killed in a time of war, but their own people, killed by their own governments in times of peace. Over 66 million slaughtered under communism in the Soviet Union, over 69 million murdered in Red China. Over two Million killed under Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. The millions more killed under Mengistu in Ethiopia, under Samora Machel in Mozambique, and Agestino Neto in Angola and under Fidel Castro in Cuba.”

Replacing Apartheid with Abortion
At one point, Nelson Mandela expressed his surprise that we wanted to “restrict the rights of women” by opposing abortion. I responded: “Mr. President you are questioning the Christianity of people who 40 years ago justified apartheid. I tell you, sir, it will not be 40 years from now and people will question your humanity for legalising abortion. You are seeking to replace apartheid with abortion. And abortion is even worse than apartheid. Abortion does not just place the baby on a separate voter’s role and restrict where they can live or swim. Abortion takes the baby’s life. Life begins at conception and abortion is the violent taking of that life. Abortion is the worst type of apartheid, for it separates a baby from its own mother and from its life support, at its most crucial state of development. You are seeking to replace discrimination on the basis of race with discrimination on the basis of age.”

“You May Take your Photos Now…”
At the end of the hour, Nelson Mandela stood up and told us that we could now take our pictures. I did not mean to be rude, but we honestly had not even thought about that: “No thank you,” I said. He turned mouth agape in apparent shock. Perhaps we were the first delegation to meet with him who did not want to have pictures taken with him. I then hastened to add: “But, we would like to pray for you.”

Praying for the President
“No! No! That’s very private and personal.” I pretended not to hear and put a hand on one shoulder while Rev. Soon Zevenster placed his hand on the other shoulder. We prayed that the Lord would not grant Mr. Mandela any peace until he did what he knew what was right, until he introduced legislation for the protection of helpless, innocent babies from the violence and injustice of abortion. I prayed that Mr. Mandela would find peace in Christ by bowing the knee and surrendering to Almighty God to do His will.

Door is Always Open
At the end of our impassioned prayer, I handed over a book from Dr. James Kennedy and Mr. Mandela thanked us and assured us that he was “always responsive” to the “concerns” of our “constituency” and that his “door is always open” should we have any other concerns. (However, the next week senior investigators of his Revenue Service began a seven-year Audit of our mission and family!)

Responding to an ANC Demand for an Apology
On another occasion, in 1995, I was summoned to parliament to give a submission to their subcommittee on their draft publications bill, which effectively legalised pornography and blasphemy. After my submission, during question time, one ANC MP asked me: “Have you ever apologised for what you did in the SADF?” I answered: “You want me to apologise for what I did in the South African Defence Force? I am sorry we did not kill all of you. You were not Freedom fighters, you were terrorists. You did not attack our military bases, you attacked civilians. Black civilians. You burned a thousand Black South Africans with the brutal necklace murder. You planted landmines in dirt roads and killed whole families. You planted landmines in roads leading to schools and killed school children coming in school buses on their way to school. You kidnapped young children from schools and took them across the border to brutalise them and trained them for your terrorist groups, murdering many and raping the girls. You threw hand grenades through windows into Black policemen’s homes at night. You petrol bombed the homes of Black town councillors. Car bombs, limpet mines, blatant targeting of civilians. You are hypocrites. You speak against racism and then you laugh and applaud and give standing ovations to the worst racist on the planet today, Robert Mugabe, dictator of Zimbabwe. You have no right to ever speak against racism when you so obviously applaud, endorse and enthusiastically practise it. I am sorry we ended the war before thoroughly and completely eradicating all of you communists.”

There was a stunned and awkward silence for a time and then the Chairman said: “Right, let us move to our next point…” and they never brought up the subject again. That is the only way you can deal with Marxists, guilt manipulators, gaslighters, thugs and terrorists.

Observation from the French Revolution
Napoleon observed that he could not believe the foolishness of the King Louis XVI in not ordering his men to open fire on the mob. Young Napoleon, seeing the massacre of the king’s Swiss guard, determined that if he ever faced a mob, he would give them “the whiff of grapeshot” - meaning turn the artillery/cannons on them. This is what he did on 5 October 1795 which led to Napoleon becoming a leader in France and then the Emperor.

You Cannot Reason with a Mob
Napoleon Bonaparte was adamant that you cannot reason with a mob. Throughout history, it has been understood that the only way to deal with arsonists and looters is to shoot them. Those who advise police to “stand back,” or “stand down,” during threats to life and property are unravelling the foundations of civilisation. There can be nothing worse than mob rule anarchy.

Understanding the Agenda behind Defund the Police
The BLM plan to “defund the police” does not mean a police-free state. Marxists want control. Their plan is to defund and disarm, disband the organised, professional police force, which is mostly conservative and generally pro-Trump. What they then want to do is have their war lords/gangs replace the existing professional police with BLM and ANTIFA revolutionaries is police uniform. That would then be followed by gun confiscations and we know how that ends.

The Issue is Never the Issue – the Issue is Always the Revolution
The French Revolution, the Bolshevik Revolution, the Cultural Revolution in China… how many more times must we see this Agenda worked out before people understand that what Curtis Bowers, documented in Agenda – Masters of Deceit is so true: The issue is never the issue, the issue is always the Revolution.
