On Friday, 28 June, many friends and family, from around the world, gathered in St. Peter’s Church of England in Mowbray to salute this dedicated Disciple. A man of principle, conviction and courage, Neil Michael Hurworth was born 3 August 1933 and ended his productive earthly life at age 85, entering eternity 22 June 2019.
Uncle Neil began climbing Table Mountain during the time of General Jan Smuts whom he encountered on the slopes, in the 1940s. He and Wendy continued climbing the mountain until just a few weeks before his untimely death.
Neil Hurworth was also an avid Yachtsman, who took his family on many sailing adventures. On one memorable occasion he took his son, Stephen, on an expedition to St. Helena Island, but forgot to pack the nautical maps. He remembered the Theological books, but the lack of nautical maps meant that they missed the island and got caught in a Force 10 storm. As his son, Stephen, noted, they were most fortunate to arrive back in Cape Town alive and in one piece! Stephen commented that sailing to St. Helena Island amidst the very high winds and rolling white waves, with long overhanging crests and limited visibility, is still “the most exciting episode” in his life.

We have gathered in honour and memory of Stephen Mitford Goodson
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Stephen Mitford Goodson was a remarkable economist, Reformer, researcher and author. Stephen provided a tremendous service for future freedom and prosperity by lifting the veil of secrecy of so many facts and facets of the history of central banking and the enslavement of mankind. His explosive: “Inside the South African Reserve Bank – Its Origins and Secrets Exposed” place him in the forefront of courageous resistance to the banksters and their globalist agenda. He believed that “Truth Conquers.”

At this point several testified of what Michiah had said at the Bellville South Church that very Sunday morning: Michiah had testified that when he was 12 years old, his elder brother, 17-year-old Timothy, had drowned. This brought Michiah to surrender his life to Christ and he read Romans 8:28-30.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
