![]() Africa Overland Mission to Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique We praise God for the safe return of our Africa Overland Mission team from a four-month mission across Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. Despite tremendous logistical challenges and illness, including malaria and bilharzia, our mission team succeeded in delivering and distributing over 2 1/2 tons of Bibles and books and conducting over a hundred meetings, including Leadership training courses, seminars, conferences, services, school assemblies and outreaches. Despite delays, disruptions and bureaucratic obstacle courses, our mission team succeeded in delivering desperately needed supplies and Scriptural resources to pastors, missionaries and evangelists. They conducted Biblical Exposition workshops, seminars and conferences, meeting with pastors and chiefs who testified that they were first discipled by Frontline Fellowship mission teams back in the 1980’s and 90’s. “Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and teaching.” 2 Timothy 4:2

Conscience Captive to the Word of God was a theme throughout the year for many services, seminars, radio and TV programmes. You can view the presentations here. They conducted Biblical Exposition workshops, seminars and conferences in North-West Zambia, meeting with pastors and chiefs, who testified that they were discipled by Frontline Fellowship mission teams back in the 1980’s and 90’s. Bibles for Africa By God’s grace, through designated support, our team was able to purchase over $3000 worth of Bibles in indigenous languages, particularly in Chichewa and Bemba. These were greatly appreciated and received with much rejoicing. Covenant College Our team was also able to visit and see the development in Covenant College, which Frontline Fellowship established over 20 years ago. Evangelism and Discipleship While Daniel and Judah have been busy with Leadership Training and Church services, Alieska and Amieke have been conducting children’s ministries, school outreaches, women’s meetings and outreaches in the market places. ![]() Great Commission Course 2021 By God’s grace and despite the disruptions caused by the ANC government imposing a level 4 lockdown on the country, we have completed a successful three-week Great Commission Course. We were just three days into the Course when the Level 4 Lockdown was declared, making many of the scheduled day trips and services in different Churches difficult and in some cases impossible. We had to be very adaptable to rearrange our program and schedule new aspects of the GCC. ![]() To view this Prayer and Praise update with pictures in a PDF - CLICK HERE WCBI Graduates in the Muslim Middle East This week marks an important milestone as one of our satellite schools for William Carey Bible Institute (WCBI), in a country in North Africa, holds its first Graduation service for WCBI students in this Arabic-speaking, Muslim country. WCBI was founded to provide free Tertiary Education for Christians in Restricted Access Areas. It has since expanded wider to Home Educators and Missionaries worldwide. However, these six graduates of WCBI in the Muslim Middle East mark an important milestone in the development of our distance-learning programme of www.WilliamCareyBI.com. ![]() 30 Years of Biblical Worldview Summits Since 1991, we have been conducting Biblical Worldview Summits. This year, 2021, marks the 30th anniversary of the launch of our first BWS, which was held at Glenvar Bible College in Constantia. International Participation In the last three decades, participants have travelled through to our Biblical Worldview Summits (BWS) in Cape Town from as far afield as Australia, Botswana, Canada, the Congo, England, Germany, Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Scotland, Sudan, Switzerland, Uganda, the United States of America, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The enthusiastic response of those who have participated in these life-changing courses have encouraged us to continue refining and updating the BWS as a Christian Leadership Training Course, designed to encourage, equip and empower believers to apply Biblical principles to every area of life. Solid Spiritual Foundation Our good friend and Board Member, Dr. James Kennedy, declared: “The Summit provides a solid spiritual foundation to help keep your child’s faith secure in the storms of godlessness and unbelief confronting him.” Combatting Cancer![]() As I was packing for the journey to Pretoria to conduct a Biblical Worldview Seminar, Lenora was preparing to be checked into hospital for a complex hip replacement surgery. This was just the latest in a 10-year battle against cancer. A PET scan and an MRI revealed that the whole of Lenora’s right hip was riddled with cancer and surgery was scheduled. Lenora’s primary concern was that this would prevent her from participating in Dragon boating and Choir! Every year this time, Lenora’s choir would be involved in Carols by Candlelight and Handel’s Messiah concerts. Lenora has not relished hanging up her paddle for the month of December and having to take up crutches instead. Yet, it is extraordinary what she has been able to organise and co-ordinate even from her hospital bed through her smartphone! I remain determined not to acquire any smartphone, content to leave those technological gadgets to my wife and children to master. Books, libraries, research, printing and publishing projects still remain my weapons of choice in the world war of worldviews THANK YOU very much for all your prayers, encouragement and support. Your practical participation, generous support and fervent prayers are essential for CHRISTIAN ACTION. We wish all our friends, intercessors and supporters a Christ-centred Christmas.

Back to the Bible Biblical Interpretation Course Hunter is hosting a series of Biblical Interpretation Workshops at our Mission House with a dedicated group of pastors, teachers and Evangelists, who are completing homework assignments and being equipped with basic tools for rightly interpreting the Scriptures, understanding the historical back ground, the importance of context and how to compile exegetical sermons. “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of Truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 Sudan for Christ In the last month we have published articles on Floods in Sudan; Promising Prospects for Peace in Sudan and Priority Projects for Prayer and Action. Large quantities of Bibles, Study Bibles and Christian textbooks have been prepositioned for our next mission into Sudan. Dramatic developments have been taking place with the transitional government abolishing the Sharia laws against apostacy and blasphemy, which have often been used to persecute Christians. There are promising developments towards religious freedom in Sudan! It remains to be seen how consistently this will be applied, but there is widespread hope and excitement that the culminative prayers of many Christians over decades are being answered at this time. “…Cush will submit herself to God.” Psalm 68:31 |
