The Eurochoir is unique in every way. With over 150 members drawn from Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Romania, this youth choir has thrilled audiences throughout the world with their multilingual, varied, colourful and captivating concerts. SCHEDULED CAPE TOWN PERFORMANCES BY THE EUROCHOIR

Saturday, 29 Oct 2016, 3PM – Eurochoir performing at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre, Cape Town. Anyone welcome. Attendance is FREE.

Sunday, 30 Oct 2016, 10AM – 499TH Reformation Sunday Service, with the Eurochoir – Lutheran Church, Strand Street, Cape Town. All welcome. 

Monday, 31 Oct 2016, 12noon – Reformation Day Celebration Service with the Eurochoir – Huguenot Monument, Franschhoek. All welcome.

Monday, 31 Oct 2016, 3PM – Reformation Day Celebration – Eurochoir concert – Dutch Reformed Church, Franschhoek. All welcome.

Reformation and Revival
It was on 31 October 1517, that Dr. Martin Luther launched the greatest century of Reformation with his bold stand at the Castle Church in Wittenberg! 31 October is celebrated as the birthday of Evangelical, Bible believing churches worldwide.

What are you planning for the Reformation Celebrations at the end of October 2016?

Please join us for a Historic TOUR of the HUGUENOT MUSEUM & MONUMENT, CULTURAL PERFORMANCES BY THE EUROCHOIR and REFORMATION CELEBRATION SERVICES.

The Eurochoir and orchestra will be visiting Cape Town from 29-October to 1 November 2016. 

They will be performing at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on Saturday, 29 October, at 3PM.
They will also perform during the 499th Reformation Sunday Service at the historic Lutheran Church, Strand Street, Cape Town, on Sunday, 30 October, at 10AM.
The choir will also lead us in Reformation Celebration Hymns such as Luther’s A Mighty Fortress is Our God at the Reformation Day Celebration Service in scenic Franschhoek, on Monday, 31 October, at 12noon.
We further plan for them to perform a multi-lingual concert (FREE entry) on 31 October, at 3PM at the beautiful Dutch Reformed Church in Franschhoek.
 
TOUR of HUGUENOT MONUMENT and MUSEUM in FRANSCHHOEK – Monday, 31 October

TIME: 10am – 12noon.

COST: R2/child and R10/adult (for entrance to Museum). 

No charge for this guided tour on 31 October.

Hear history come alive when Christian Missionary and Historian, Dr. Peter Hammond, leads a guided tour of the Huguenot Museum and Monument.

Western civilisation has been blessed with the greatest freedoms, productivity and prosperity ever known in history. The liberty, standards of justice and creativity enjoyed in Western civilisation are a direct result of the Protestant Reformation of the 16th Century.

REFORMATION CELEBRATION SERVICE – Monday, 31 October

TIME: 12noon

Join us in Franschhoek, for the Reformation Day Celebration Service, with the Eurochoir.

(There is no charge for those entering the Monument to attend this service). 

After the Service, a picnic lunch will be available. Please RSVP, should you wish to be included for an already-packed picnic lunch. Cost: R30/person.

(If it is raining, then the midday Reformation Day Service will be held in the Dutch Reformed Church)

EUROCHOIR CONCERT in FRANSCHHOEK

The Eurochoir is planning on presenting a multilingual concert from 3-5PM at the Dutch Reformed Church in Franschhoek. Entrance is free.
