Dear Friends
"Sing to the LORD, all the earth! Tell of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples! For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and He is to be held in awe above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Splendour and majesty are before Him; strength and joy are in His place. Ascribe to the LORD, O clans of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength! Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering and come before him! Worship the LORD in the splendour of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth; yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!" Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall the trees of the forest sing for joy before the LORD, for He comes to judge the earth."1Chronicles 16:23-33

A Country in Need
Zimbabwe is a country that has been through so much in recent history. They are a nation which is overcoming the worst economical downfall in the world. It is a country with many physical and financial needs, but even more than that, it is a country that has many, many spiritual needs. As people are clinging onto any religion that comes their way, in hopes to improve their physical needs, Christianity seems to be one of the many religions that is proclaiming to possess the only way of truth. Because of this competition for the hearts and souls of men, it seems as though it is a religion that has taken a wrong turn and compromised in its beliefs to try and attract the masses. While we were in Zimbabwe, we heard about the false teachers and false prophets out there deceiving people. Many of the stories we heard seemed too bizarre to be true. Sooner or later the people will catch on to these false teachings in the church and may discard Christianity completely. In a supreme irony, the bulk of the imported maize being supplied to starving Zimbabweans from Zambia is coming from the white commercial farmers who were evicted from their lands during Mugabe's chaotic land invasions. Some of the dispossessed farmers moved to Zambia where they developed new farms. It is now being found that most of the 300,000 tonnes of maize imported from Zambia to feed the millions of Zimbabweans facing starvation, comes from these farmers who had their land stolen by Mugabe's ZANU-PF government.

TO THE MEMORY OF ALL THOSE MISSIONARIES AND CHILDREN WHO PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE… We Will Remember Them. 23 June 1978. ELIM MISSION MASSACRE 23 JUNE 1978 Guerillas crossed the border, from their base in Mozambique, Cowardly satanic whores, trained well to kill the meek. Christendom, the word of God, was communist’s enemy. From this land Rhodesia, they wished His Word to flee. In the dead of night these 'freedom fighters' surrounded Eagle School,4 Wild animals from the depth of Hell, their intensions foul and cruel, Condemned to death thirteen souls, by Pharisee Kangaroo court. Elim's Missionaries forced onto a field, to witness Satan's 'sport' Crimes Against Humanity
A former member of the European Parliament, Glenys Kinnock, who was a previous Minister of State for Africa in the United Kingdom, asked during a parliamentary debate, why the British government is not pushing for the prosecution of Robert Mugabe at the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity? The United Nations defines a crime against humanity as "a widespread attack on a civilian population." Mugabe should be investigated and indicted by the ICC for the Matabele massacres of the 1980s, continued state-sponsored violence against political opponents and ongoing atrocities in their blood diamond fields. Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s MDC reports that ZANU-PF and the security forces are continuing and intensifying a campaign of violence and intimidation against its members. MDC political rallies have been disrupted by police. ZANU-PF militants went on the rampage in Highlands, damaging property and injuring MDC members. Robert Mugabe, who is 88 years old, has ruled Zimbabwe with an iron fist since Independence in 1980. Mugabe is pushing for early elections without the constitutional safeguards and electoral reform demanded by the Movement for Democratic Change. Mugabe is wanting yet another five-year term as president. Despite having lost a number of presidential elections, he continues to remain in power.
At a time when Zimbabwe normally experiences its heaviest and most widespread rains, the country is experiencing a drought. January and February are known as some of the wettest months of the year, yet as of 15 February so far this year there has been no rainfall.
With crops failing throughout the land; President Robert Mugabe had held a witchcraft ceremony in Zvimba, his home area in Zimbabwe. The ancestors were invoked by the President – but to no avail. The rain ceremony spectacularly failed. (More recently prayer services in some parts of the country have been rewarded with some rain). Across the Globe, from America to Africa, people are praying for the downfall of Mugabe's ZANU PF dictatorship in Zimbabwe and Biblical repentance to take place among the majority of Zimbabweans. Tyranny is a mark to show that a nation has rejected Jesus Christ in politics, economics, personal and social life.
Independent newspapers have been bombed and banned. Journalists have been harassed, tortured and killed. The Movement for Democratic Change offices have been bombed. Many opposition Members of Parliament have been arrested, tortured and some murdered. |
