During a recent ministry trip overseas I was presented with some astounding statistics on Muslims coming to Christ. As the sources are involved in restricted access areas, they do not want their names mentioned as sources, neither can I personally confirm the accuracy of these reports. However, for your interest and information: I’ve been informed that there are now over 50,000 believers in Afghanistan. Before the war there were less than 100 Christians in the country. Today there are more than 400 Christian missionaries in Afghanistan, operating in each of the 34 provinces, for the first time in Afghan history. One of the missions involved in Afghanistan claims that there are today over 50,000 Afghan Christians.

The recent explosion of violent demonstrations against Danish Embassies and products in reaction to some cartoon strips on Muhammad published back in September in a small local paper raises some important questions.
When I was invited to lecture on: “Slavery – The Rest of the Story” at three university campuses in Minnesota, I expected that it would engender some opposition. What I could not have foreseen was the intensity of hostility and emotion that would be whipped up by some radical students against myself and those who had invited me.
Karl Marx declared: “The first battlefield is the rewriting of history.” Evidently, many of Marx’s disciples have been very busy on the university campuses rewriting history, rearranging reality and brainwashing students. The University of Minnesota has 37,000 students, including over 2,900 international students from more than 130 countries, including China, India, Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan and many others. I have been invited to lecture at the university campus before, on the persecution of Christians in Sudan. Those presentations received some opposition, but nothing like what we received on this occasion. General Georges Sada, a former air force fighter pilot who once served as a senior military advisor to Saddam Hussein, is one of thousands of Iraqis who have become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Monday, 18 July 2005, the Frontline Fellowship Field Director, was surrounded by a mob of Muslim students at the University of Pretoria threatening him and demanding that the Frontline Fellowship missions display be removed. We had been officially invited by the University Missions Committee to take part in their “Go Love the Nations” Missions Week.
The Faiz–E–Abrar Islamic Trust School in Lusaka, Zambia, was raided by the Zambian Police. They found the 280 children – all males aged between four and 10 years old – locked up in a warren of cells.
The children, who were clad in Islamic caps and robes, told Cabinet Minister, Gladys Nyirongo, (The Minister of Youth, Sport and Child Development) who accompanied the police, that they all wanted to leave the Islamic School. The boys claimed that they had been kept at the school against their will and that they had been subjected to abuse. In expounding Daniel 9, Martin Luther noted that among others, the prophet Daniel was talking about the Muslim Turks, who at that time were invading Europe: "In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a stern-faced king, a master of intrigue will arise. He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation … He will cause deceit to prosper and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power." Daniel 9: 23 – 25
The UN’s World Conference Against Racism (WCAR) held in Durban, South Africa, was itself the scene of intense racial hatred. The Conference was hijacked by radical Muslims who forced their hostility against Israel and the United States of America upon virtually every event. On numerous occasions the police had to intervene and form a protective ring around the Jewish delegates, who were being cursed, screamed at and threatened by extremely angry pro-Palestinian delegates. So intimidated were the Jewish delegates, that they soon removed all Jewish identifications and sought new name cards, which did not identify them as Jewish! Finally, the American and Israeli delegations felt forced to leave the Conference entirely. With such reckless verbal attacks against America at the Racism Conference, followed by such unprecedented multiple co-ordinated terrorist attacks upon America, it was apparent that extremists were using the UN’s Conference as a platform to prepare for the "armed propaganda" of targeting the USA.
Helicopter gunships and Antonov bombers of the Government of Sudan have launched repeated intensive aerial bombardments of civilian centres in Southern Sudan. On some occasions these aerial attacks were followed up by co-ordinated ground assaults by the National Islamic Front (NIF) armed forces and Peoples Defence Force (PDF) militias.
Reports received by our mission include testimonies of ground assaults (sometimes) at night and scorched earth campaigns by government forces burning homes and grain supplies, and looting cattle. On one occasion 4 helicopter gunships and an Antonov bomber co-ordinated with ground forces to destroy everything necessary to sustain life in the area. |
