World Missionary Press Gospel booklets We had the joy of receiving another container shipment and offloading 18 pallets of World Missionary Press Gospel booklets. Over 4200 boxes containing over 1,800,000 Gospel booklets in numerous African languages. https://www.frontlinemissionsa.org/news/quartermaster-store-for-missions-throughout-africa . Already ministers are lining up to collect boxes of WMP Gospel booklets for their outreaches. World Missionary Press has been a vital part of Frontline Fellowship Missions for over 40 years. As itinerant Evangelists we prize these Gospel booklets because they are compact, light-weight, saturated with Scripture, topical and extremely relevant to the issues and challenges of people in Africa. Especially for missions on motorbikes, by foot, on bicycles and in dugout canoes, the lightweight, compact WMP boxes are our first choice. We can reach more people with the Word of God carrying in WMP booklets. According to our records we have delivered and distributed well over 7 million WMP Gospel booklets throughout Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Angola, Malawi, Tanzania, the Congo, Rwanda, Sudan and as far afield as Nigeria. https://vimeo.com/437081457 "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16 Audio Bibles in Arabic for the Nuba Mountains of Sudan We have heard from the medical mission team in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan that the Audio Bibles we supplied have been a tremendous blessing. They sent us a picture of a blind Sudanese soldier who they were able to give one of these Audio Bibles to. It was an important networking opportunity. At about 2 AM I awoke to a sharp pain in my left ankle. As I tried to stand up and walk out this cramp, I fell over. My left side felt lame. As I called out in prayer to the Lord, my speech was slurred. I could feel the left side of my face was numb. It was apparent to me that I was suffering a stroke so I went to the medicine cabinet and took out an Aspirin. Then I attempted to go back to sleep. In the morning when Daniela knocked on my door to find out if I was all right, the thought came to my mind: I'm dying. I did not say that, but that is what I was thinking at the time. I placed my sword by my bedside, knelt down and prayed the Psalms. As I tried to walk down the hallway I found myself bumping into pictures and bookshelves on the left. Plainly my left side was not co-ordinated, confirming that I had suffered a stroke. Daniela insisted that I stay at home and not attempt to drive through to the mission, and designate to others my upcoming radio, TV and other meetings. Later I asked her to drive me through to the hospital and admit me to casualty. There the medical staff very quickly sent me off to get an MRI, which must be quite an ordeal for anyone who is claustrophobic. It is a long tunnel and very noisy – like some demonic disco. From the MRI scan the radiologist confirmed that I had suffered a kind of stroke caused by a blood clot. My blood pressure was very high, so they admitted me to the Intensive Care Unit where I was strapped up to all kinds of monitors. Soon I was visited by an occupational therapist, a neurological therapist and a speech therapist, who subjected me to a number of tests. Later, on Tuesday, the chairman of Frontline Fellowship, Anthony Stander, visited ICU and anointed me with oil in accordance with James 5:14 & 15: "is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up." The Lord certainly answered that prayer and the prayers of other friends who visited. On subsequent days, the doctor and the therapists expressed amazement at how well I was recovering. When the neurological therapist gave me a puzzle to solve, she announced: “well that's a record” when I completed it promptly. The nurses also commented on how I was visibly better and how mobile I was able to be. By God's grace, Friday morning, Daniela came to collect me from the hospital. Surrounded by my books and cats, I was very grateful to God for His hand of mercy and healing. A stroke is very serious and there are medications to take and exercises I need to do every day. However, I am healthy. Thank you so very much for your love and concern and for your prayers. It is at times like these that we must appreciate friends and family. My sister-in-law, Deborah arrived this weekend from Salzburg, Austria. My eldest daughter, Andrea and grandsons Jeremy and Oliver also returned from 3 months in the northern hemisphere this past Sunday. This week I am invited to travel through to our very good friends at KwaSizabantu Mission in KwaZulu. Ministers Conference Please pray for the upcoming KwaSizabantu Mission Ministers Conference (6 – 8 March 2023). We have shipped up Bibles in indigenous African languages, Bible surveys, books and Gospel booklets in different languages for distribution to the participants who are coming from many nations. Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” 2 Timothy 4:1-2 Protesting 26 years of Legalised Abortion in South Africa Legalised abortion is a national disgrace. We recently were part of Sê Jou Sê a major Afrikaans television debate on the right to life on national TV. Wednesday 1st of February 2023 marked the 26th anniversary of the legalisation of abortion on demand in South Africa. Many Christians who respect the Sanctity of Life observed Sunday, 29 January as a day of Prayer and Repentance for the national sin of abortion. Pastors throughout the country preached on the Sanctity of Life and congregations in every province joined in prayers of repentance for the national sin of abortion. "If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 March for Life 2023 Every year, on the anniversary of the disastrous abortion legislation, Africa Christian Action organises the March for Life to parliament, followed with a Prayer vigil and Repentance service outside the gates of parliament. The March for Life this year was on Wednesday, 1 February. The March for Life is generally in the form of a Funeral Procession, in which we walk through the centre of town to Parliament. You can view pictures of the event here: https://www.facebook.com/africachristianaction “Wisdom calls aloud outside; she raises her voice in the open squares. She cries out in the chief concourses, at the openings of the gates in the city she speaks her words…” Proverbs 1:20-22 Prayer and Action Once at the main gates of Parliament, Africa Christian Action organised a Prayer Vigil from 1 PM in memory of the over two million babies killed by abortion in South Africa since 1997. You can view some of the prayers at Parliament here: https://vimeo.com/800830939 and https://vimeo.com/800351975 "They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.
