We praise God for the safe return of our Missionaries from North Africa. By God's grace, John, Ben, Hunter and Abrie succeeded in delivering and distributing over 32,000 Bibles and 43,000 The Story of Jesus Christ full colour picture books to 130 schools and numerous churches throughout the remote and war-devastated Nuba Mountains of Sudan. Cease-Fire Provides Window of Opportunity for Historic Mission to Bless the Nuba
Our recent Mission was the culmination of a 14 month project to print, ship, deliver and distribute Bibles and books to the remote and rugged Nuba Mountains - an island of Christianity that continues to survive in a sea of Islam. When this project began we had no idea that a negotiation initiative by the American government would bring about an unprecedented cease-fire in the Nuba Mountains. According to our hosts and contacts on the ground, no bombings had been experienced in the Nuba Mountains over the last year. As a result our Mission teams were able to reach 130 primary and secondary schools in the Nuba Mountains. The Nubans were excited to receive these Bibles and picture books as they wanted to use them to teach their children to read and speak English. You can read the letter I wrote to President Donald Trump thanking him for his effective diplomatic efforts that have brought unprecedented and unexpected relief to the long-suffering Christians of the Nuba Mountains of Sudan.

Western Cape Armed Forces Veterans Parade
On 2 June, I was invited to attend and be a guest speaker at the Parade of the Western Cape Armed Forces Veterans and was presented with a Honourary Membership. The presentation I delivered at the parade: Crisis Reveals Character has been uploaded onto our www.FrontlineMissionSA.org website and can be viewed on our Video Gallery, or listened to on our Sermon Audio page. Over 30 of the veterans took me up on the offer to receive a free military Bible. It was a tremendous experience to be with the men amongst whom our Mission was born, over 38 years ago, in a Bible Study and Prayer meeting, which I started in the 6th South African Infantry Battalion.
