Dear Friends Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. “Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His Name; make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing Psalms to Him; talk of all His wondrous works! Glory in His holy Name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore! Remember His marvellous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,” 1 Chronicles 16:8-12 Working for Reformation Today This was my fourth Mission in four months. We have been promoting 2017 as Reformation 500 for many years, actually, since my Mission to Europe in 2005, so it is understandable that we have received many invitations to conduct Reformation 500 conferences in so many countries.

"The greatest missionary is the Bible in the mother tongue. It needs no furlough and is never considered a foreigner." William Cameron Townsend. From the Battlefield to the Mission Field William Cameron Townsend was one of the most influential mission leaders in the last century. Born in California in 1896, raised in a Presbyterian Church, he was inspired to join the Student Volunteer Movement after hearing missionary John Mott speak at Occidental College in Los Angeles. In 1917, as William Townsend prepared to join the army and participate in the war, he was challenged by a missionary on furlough to make the Great Commission his priority and go to the mission field instead of the battlefield. Dear Friends Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. "…Praise the Lord, call upon His Name; declare His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for He has done excellent things; this is known in all the earth." Isaiah 12:4-5 From the Ends of the Earth Participants for this year's Great Commission Course came from as far afield as America, Canada, England, Kenya and New Zealand. Participants wrote that they came to the GCC: "to be empowered, so that I can empower others.", "to learn to be more effective.", "to gain courage and boldness" and for "duty and desire to glorify God." A Collection of Tributes for Rev. Bill Bathman from Around the World. "Bill (Bathman) and Nick… names with an eternal resonance by now, men for whom we are grateful to the Lord and are now enjoying God's presence! "Bill (Bathman) and Nick… names with an eternal resonance by now, men for whom we are grateful to the Lord and are now enjoying God's presence! What a blessed thought! Bill Bathman was an amazing man of God, a powerful preacher, gracious friend, and brother in Christ! His name and passion for the Lord will always be remembered in our family and home church (the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Oradea, Romania), especially as one of the few who dared to come and encourage us during the bleak days of the Communist Regime. In the mid 80's, another wave of Revival started in our church (Emmanuel Baptist, previously known as the Second Baptist Church of Oradea), and Bill was the first in a line of powerful and motivating (and daring) preachers, whose passion and deep concern for lost souls won over the fear of losing one's life. His love for God was authentic, and people listened, and hearts were turned. Testimonies from previous participants:
It was a special joy to be invited to the 40th anniversary of South African Action for World Evangelisation (SAAWE) this last weekend. Over 100 Mission-minded leaders, intercessors, friends and supporters of the Mission gathered at the headquarters of SAAWE, Kempton Park, on Saturday, 19 November, to give thanks for 40 years of the Lord's provision, protection, guidance and blessing. The original SAAWE Co-ordinator, Bettie Loock, is still faithfully serving 40 years on!
Reformation to the Remotest Regions
2017 is Reformation 500. 31 October 2017, will mark the 500th anniversary of Professor Martin Luther nailing the 95 Theses on the church door of the Schlosskirche (Castle Church) in Wittenberg. At a time of religious corruption, this was a mighty call that the Church honour and obey the Word of God for the renewal of Faith and morals. This is by far the most significant spiritual anniversary that will take place in our life time. Westminster Abbey to be Lit Red to Highlight Christian Persecution

This year, 2015, marks a number of remarkable historic milestones, which we are using for Discipleship, teaching obedience to all things that the Lord has commanded. This year marks the 800th anniversary of the proclamation of Magna Carta, the first statute, the first written restriction on the powers of government. "To no one will we sell, to no one deny, or delay, right or justice." No taxes may be levied without the consent of representatives of those being taxed. No one may be imprisoned without a fair trial by Jury of their peers. Property must not be taken from any owner without just compensation. Religious freedom is foundational and must remain inviolable, with all "its rights undiminished and its liberties unimpaired."
