A Missionary Solution to the Challenges of Africa
It should be obvious that there is no political or military solution to the many conflicts tearing apart so many regions of the world today. Ultimately there can only be a spiritual solution. We need to encourage all churches to get serious and strategic about the fulfillment of the Great Commission. instead of sending in the marines, we need to send in the missionaries. We need to turn terrorists into Evangelists. David was a conqueror, he killed Goliath. But Jesus Christ is more than a Conqueror: He turned the enemy and persecutor of the church Saul into the Evangelist and Missionary of the Church the Apostle Paul. God has guided our mission to take the Gospel and the love of Christ to our enemies. Since 1982 I have been evangelizing our enemies, proclaiming the Gospel even in terrorist camps, bringing communists to Christ and winning Muslims to the Messiah. This I believe is a model that can be used to stabilize War-torn areas which now are being ravaged by conflict. We design Tracts for terrorists and present the Gospel for guerillas. https://www.givesendgo.com/EvangelisingEnemies Operation World informs us that there are now over 780 million people in Africa who claim to be Christians. The number of Christians in Africa is set to double by 2050 when, if present trends continue, our continent is expected to be home to 1.4 billion Christians! Most of the pastors and Africa have no formal Bible college training. Most pastors have no access to a library. Study Bibles are rare and some pastors do not even have a full Bible. In the Congo where we are establishing the Congo River Mission, 70% of pastors only have a New Testament!: https://www.givesendgo.com/Literature4Africa There is phenomenal church growth in Africa, but the challenge is that over 600 million churchgoers in Africa do not yet have a copy of the Bible, or even a New Testament. https://www.givesendgo.com/africanindigenousbibles Africa's Greatest & most Urgent Needs are Bibles and Bible Teaching, which is the primary focus of our Mission: https://www.givesendgo.com/frontlinefellowship Over the years, we have endured aerial bombardments, rocket bombardments, artillery bombardments, ambushes, arrests and imprisonments. By God's grace we survived each of these attacks and God opened prison doors and set the captives free. John Calvin declared that the greatest injury that can be inflicted on anyone is to harm their reputation. Our mission has been targeted not only by enemies of the Gospel, but sadly also by some Christians, most of whom we have helped and served sacrificially. Yet, we can praise God, that despite all of this, our Mission is healthy, vibrant and active, involved in some of the most needy and neglected mission fields in Africa. Our missionary, Johan, A retired naval commander has been focused on the Congo, developing the Congo River Mission since 2004. There are 18 million people living in the rainforest of the Congo river basin, either on the banks of the Congo river itself or of its tributaries, who can only be reached by river. There are no roads to any of these villages. This Congo river basin represents one of the most neglected and needy mission fields on earth. The escalating war in the Congo is threatening the area where Johan works. We have been asked by the Chaplain General of the Zambian Army to help and develop a chaplain's training school. We have also been asked to assist our good friends in South Sudan to help them reestablish the Hospital in Lui. Missionaries in the Kingdom of Eswatini have requested more Bibles in Siswati. Each year, I Have had the privilege of ministering in KwaZulu. where many thousands of young people attend the KwaSizabantu Mission Youth Conferences delegates attended the conference I was invited to minister to. We Regularly deliver and distribute large quantities of Gospel booklets & Bibles in Zulu. Every year for the last 28 years we have coordinated and led the March for Life to parliament in Cape Town to mark the anniversary of the legalization of abortion in South Africa. We regularly receive container shipments of Bibles and books, and Gospel literature which we offload and organize /categorize and designate. https://www.frontlinemissionsa.org/news/quartermaster-store-for-missions-throughout-africa On average, every year, our Literature4Africa ministry distributes over 200 tonnes of Bibles and books, throughout Africa, completely free. Your prayers and support help make all of this possible. To adequately respond to the tremendous needs and unprecedented opportunities, we need your support. Frontline Fellowship is a Reformed Mission committed to a Bible based, Christ centered ministry to transform the continent of Africa. https://www.frontlinemissionsa.org/about.html Your Partnership in helping us Work for a Back to the Bible Reformation and Revival throughout Africa is greatly needed and much appreciated! Africa for Christ! "All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. For the Kingdom is the Lord's and He rules over the nations." Psalm 22:27-28 May God abundantly bless you. For the fulfillment of the Great Commission In His Grace and Service
