Jingle Bells, Coffee Smells, Boxes Piling High

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Phoenix has finally caught up with the rest of the Northern Hemisphere, temperature-wise, which means we can actually begin to believe that Christmas is right around the corner! I know we aren't the only ones who love to enjoy a cup of tea in the evenings with a good book and a warm blanket. Unfortunately, there's little of that going on over here at the Combs Castle.

Don't get me wrong. It's all for a good cause! Packing tape and bubble wrap may not be as cozy as a hot drink and a blanket, but it's far more advantageous in helping us meet our goal.
 
To that end, we wanted to share with you our progress in getting our house on the market. We have packed everything we need to in order to have it ready for pictures (and then some), but we do have one or two more small updates to make to our home itself. It's encouraging to see how far we've come. It's also a reality check for all that is involved in making a trans-continental move. Wow!
