Christmas Outreach at the Red Cross Children's Hospital By Dr. peter Hammond By God's grace, we were able to conduct a Christmas outreach at the Red Cross Children's Hospital in Rondebosch. This is the same hospital where my son Christopher received his kidney transplant 15 years ago in 2010. Christmas Outreach at the Red Cross Children's Hospital "So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11 By God's grace, we were able to conduct a Christmas outreach at the Red Cross Children's Hospital in Rondebosch. This is the same hospital where my son Christopher received his kidney transplant 15 years ago in 2010. Lenora's good friend, Jo-Anne donated a box of Born in Africa fluffy animals which we were able to present as gifts to the children still in the wards. We also gave each child a Jesus Messiah Gospel comic book and a World Missionary Press Scripture booklet, God loves you, which includes many outline pictures which can be used for colouring in. "So then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Romans 10:17 We also distributed some chocolates and sweets. The children were delighted. Parents were grateful and the nursing staff expressed appreciation that their patients were being remembered at this special time of the year. "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…" Romans 1:16
